Colorado held no caucuses or primaries. Rather, they had insiders elect their delegates. And anybody who dared to vote for Trump was promptly replaced as the GOP fascists ensured that Bush III (Cruz) received all 34 delegates without a so-called common voter ever casting a vote.

Please show me where it is written ANYWHERE that political parties are obligated to have people vote on their candidates.

Typically, they're not. But political parties that allegedly espouse democratic principles rightfully come off as hypocrites when they make these contests a matter of backroom dealing rather than respecting the voices of its members. Fascists such as you will apologize for them though.

By definition, the Republican party espouses Republican principles.

If you take that to mean that they think it's okay to bypass voters on the most important issues and strong arm other delegates (representatives), then don't expect that to be a successful party going forward.

By all means, go out and form your own political party instead of sitting around, bitching and making demands of the ones already in existence like they owe you something.

Actually, Bush detests Cruz because Cruz made him look like an ass when Bush tried to force the state of Texas to release a convicted murderer to appease the International Court of Justice. Cruz took it to the Supreme Court and argued that the United States is a sovereign nation, and its domestic laws are not subject to review and interference by the international community. Cruz won, and the murderer was executed.
