GOP Network "OAN" Forced to Admit: No Widespread Fraud in 2020! It's Over!

The Al Capone argument....They can't convict me because I keep bullying witnesses and jurors, so I'm innocent!

Seriously weak sauce, Jake.

OAN Finally Admits ‘No Widespread Voter Fraud’ After Settling Defamation Suit

Mom-and-Daughter Poll Workers Sue Trumpy News Outlet for Bonkers Election Stories

. . . and that story? Leads us to a NYT pay-walled article, which bemoans that fact that they are poor minorities who were doxxed after this whole affair.

Two Election Workers Targeted by Pro-Trump Media Sue for Defamation

The two Georgia workers were falsely accused of manipulating ballots by Trump allies and right-wing news sites. Election officials said the workers did nothing wrong.

". . . It all began one month after the 2020 election, on Dec. 3, when a lawyer for Mr. Trump’s campaign played a spliced segment of surveillance video footage for a Georgia Senate committee. The lawyer falsely claimed Fulton elections workers pulled 18,000 fraudulent ballots from a suitcase and illegally fed them through the voting machines. . . . "

<snip>

". . . They received death threats, unending harassment from phone calls and text messages, and unsolicited pizza deliveries to their homes. Ms. Freeman and Ms. Moss, both of whom are Black, were also subjected to racial slurs.

The harassment was detailed in a Reuters article published Wednesday that included recordings of 911 calls Ms. Freeman made when Trump supporters came to her home and banged on her door last December.

According to Reuters, Ms. Moss earns about $36,000 a year for her full-time job with Fulton County. Ms. Freeman, a temporary worker, was paid $16 per hour. Ms. Freeman was forced to shut down her online business selling fashion accessories once she became inundated with threats. . . . "

Now, in this article, although we get a hint of how folks might have gotten an erroneous impression from that video we saw, the picture accompanying the article, first, gives the wrong impression of what the controversy is about. . . why not publish a still of the controversy?

. . and video splicing or not, there is no debate that this was done AFTER official counting was done, and that there were no poll watchers around. . . so? WTF?! IN all of the media, there are no links to any of the official court documents, or the Defamation Suit, or findings of fact.

The real fact of the matter is, given the facts laid out in the NYT, these women would not have the money to hire the lawyers for a defamation suit, so, obviously, someone is taking these conservatives to court to make them pay for alerting the public to reality. . .

I want to know, HOW the public knows that none of those ballots were fake, or that none of the protocols were irregular? What are the findings of law that nothing was done irregularly. . . other than the corporate/government/fascist mantra, that there is nothing to see here, and the lawyers will lawfare this to death. . I haven't found it in any of this reporting.

That does beg the question. . who? Who is bankrolling these defamation suits, and based on what evidence? Because neither Gateway Pundit, nor Giuliani seem to be backing down, as we read in other reports. . .

Georgia election workers file second suit over fraud claims

". . . It was the second defamation lawsuit by Fulton County election workers Ruby Freeman and Wandrea “Shaye” Moss this month over debunked claims they introduced suitcases of illegal ballots and committed other acts of election fraud to try to alter the outcome of the presidential election in Georgia. The pair, a mother and daughter, sued conservative website The Gateway Pundit on Dec. 2.

The lawsuit filed Thursday says One America News Network continued to accuse Freeman and Moss of wrongdoing even after Georgia election officials refuted the allegations against them. Giuliani, a lawyer for former President Donald Trump, appeared frequently on the network and along with OAN, “continued to publish and amplify the lie,” according to the suit filed in federal court in Washington.

An email to One America News Network and a member of the family that started it was not immediately returned. Messages at a phone number and email addresses associated with Giuliani were also not immediately returned.. . "

Building a case against organized crime sometimes takes years of investigation. Dems will go to prison in the end for their voter fraud.
Exactly....I don't know about prison....but this November? That will be a major factor.

Don't you know by now that Trump is a compulsive liar?
Progs are lying near all the time now. One of them said that they saved the economy but this terrible suffering we are going through is just the fallout from it. This is on them.

I'm not suffering.

Building a case against Organized crime begins with demonstrable activity.

Robberies happen even if you don’t know who committed the robbery. Bodies show up. People vanish. Hookers are turning tricks. Drugs are found.

Actual physical evidence.

Now. For the claims of fraud. The evidence is debunked. Using your organized crime example. You claim John Smith was murdered because he wouldn’t pay protection. John Smith shows up and says I am alive. You insist that John Smith was totally killed and the man claiming to be John Smith is a plant.

FBI agents looked into the claims. State police. And nothing was found.

In Riverside California the County Attorneys investigated a thousand claims of fraud from folks like you. People who were convinced. People who scoured the voter rolls. Hundreds of ballots cast by dead people. The investigators went out and talked to the people. They confirmed by poking the people with a stick. Those people were very much alive.

One person was charged and admitted guilt. One. One case of confirmable voter fraud out of 1,000 claims.

Roughly speaking. The verifiable claims of voter fraud are even more rare than people using the “gun show loophole” to transfer firearms. And those are practically nonexistent.

Not so far in Georgia. Perdue who is campaigning almost exclusively on it is polling slightly better than a dead Republican Horse. Kemp who is blamed by Trump and the fanboys for losing Georgia looks to win the nomination and the General. If we can get the fanboys to wake up.

That isn't what OAN said in their statement.

I already posted it, they said correctly that the state of GA had cleared them.

Yep. That's how it looks.

Doubtful. The more likely outcome is that the statute of limitations will run out before anything can actually be proven.
