They don't get many life long benefits

• A free, on-site gym for House members. ...
• Weakened insider trading restrictions. ...
• Up to 239 days off. ...
• Congress receives health-care subsidies under Obamacare.

You are butthurt over airport parking?
Congress had to give up Federal Employees Health Benefits in which their employer paid half....just like any other Govt employee
When they were forced to switch to Obamacare, they received the same employer contribution

In Congresses off days, they get to go back to their home district where they have an office, meet with their constituents and handle business at home....

As the Fed closes down things they don't need to be doing, then Fed taxes can come down.

Our military has not shrunk ...we are still larger than the next ten countries combined. Russia and China combined are not close to our military
