"Governor Romney,….. a few months ago when you were asked what’s the biggest geopolitical threat facing America, you said Russia, not Al Qaida; you said Russia [He actually said "number one geopolitical foe"]. In the 1980s, they’re now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because, you know, the Cold War’s been over for 20 years."

So obviously, your concern is overblown. The President has this situation well in hand.

Putin runs military exercises on the Ukraine border. The size of the forces running the exercises are not large enough to effectively invade Ukraine. Putin does this to guage the wests and Obamas reaction. He does what a smart leader does by doing this as opposed to jumping the gun and drawing a red line not to be crossed which is what dumb amatuers do.
