Group finds 14,000 child sex changes in American hospitals

Well, you just don't want it to be true. It's a known fact that 1% of the population is transgender or non-binary, and that would work out to 300K kids.

And less than 5% of them are getting treatment.
So brain damaged children are suddenly spilling out of the closet demanding sex change operations?

Maybe so and the perverted liberal agenda is to blame for poisoning their minds

Who says that they are brain-damaged?

I think it's kind of the opposite. We have the same number of transgenders that we always had. It's just now it's accepted.

I give you- left-handedness.

For a while, it was considered that if you saw little Timmy favoring his left hand, you forced him to use his right hand. Then people realized that was stupid and wrong, and not surprisingly, the percentage of southpaws stabalized at 12% and remained there.

I wonder how they’d feel if a 12 y/o wanted to adopt a kid. If they think a 12 y/o should be a parent....they shouldn’t have any problem with the adoption.
Excellent point.

If they think young teens should have babies, they should let young teens adopt babies.

Texas foster care and adoption guidelines

Licensing requirements for foster or adoption

What happens if puberty blockers are stopped?

It depends on whether the stop coincides with the start of gender affirming hormones.

If no other medication is prescribed, puberty will resume exactly as it would have without the blockers.

That's two sources saying it.

What they gloss over is the loss of time while the blockers were working.

They also ignore WHEN the blockers are stopped.

You'll always find self-haters who think they can suck up to their enemies.

The point is, none of your objections are actually rational.

They are rational, you just see dismissing it as not as another way to stick it to the religious people you despise.

Yet I am agnostic at best.

Yet you throw in with the people trying to turn America into Gilead.

Nope, your complaints aren't rational at all. You just think trans folks are icky. That's not rational.

LOL, you got a better chance of Muslims turning parts of this country into Tehran.

It's a bad idea to make it something common and normal. Mostly because you can't give them what you are claiming to give them in cases of actual gender dysphoria, and in cases where it's just a fetish you are turning a fetish into a protected class.

It's idiotic.

That's the point. It stops puberty, until they're ready for it.

Kinda like cryo-stasis in fiction. Nobody complains about the time they lost while they were frozen.

Here's a full write up. Started when he/she was 11
continued until 18, and then as an adult continued into his/her 20's.

We have argued that Phoenix’s choice to remain on puberty suppression should therefore be facilitated by clinicians who have the means to safely do so. However, such clinical provision of OPS should ideally be within the context of a properly designed research study with long-term follow-up and open publication of results.

First things first -- We are not a democracy. We are a Republic. HUGE difference.
Weird that a so called Republican doesn't know that "Liberal Democracy" is the term used for all the Constitutional Republican forms of government where the government is empower by the citizens through democratic elections, not a monarch or a strong man dictator who seizes power by force and or lies.

Or until it's too late and they are stuck with whatever the results are.

Are you really bringing up cryo-stasis as a direct example?

That's child abuse.

What happens when he/she stops them?
