leaked by calling in.

Not alot of people want to lose that comfort of being the way they are here and having to answer to it on air.

I really think some of the nervousness about it will disappear the longer you do it. People will learn whether or not they can trust that it won't even hint at interfering with their personal lives.

The only problem is that our show isnt a "usmb" podcast, it's a general discussion podcast simply linking ourselves at the usmb......

but ALSO many other places.

so if USMB users arent feeling like calling in, i cant lower myself to a begging type situation...

i have done this before and had a show that averaged about 8-10 callers per show, it was just home based somewhere else.

if its not a caller centric show, we can still rock it, it will just be a little different.

No you shouldn't lower yourself to begging, but you should also give USMB regulars enough time to be comfortable with your show to call in and participate. I think that will happen, but it takes time.

our last cavalier club live show had 95 listeners, and still no callers. ppl can be timid or what not, thats alright. the show will be plenty packed regardless of ANY callers.

In my opinion ... I think GT and Dyce are ready to roll with it ... And it is a good thing they are setting expectations a little higher.
If goals were easy ... Then that would be a sign they weren't setting them high enough.

They just need to stay focused and on track ... And I have every bit of confidence that they can.
Structure and format changes make things new and untested ... They have the ability to add doubts and difficulties.
