You guys have been gloating all weekend about how Letitia was gonna start taking Trump's shit this morning and that isn't happening, so yeah, it's a "win" at this point.

The fact that the court even made the decision to lower the bond and give Trump more time indicates that they don't think the ruling is going to stand up on appeal as well... at least not in it's current form.

Even if Trump ends up having to pay a significantly reduced fine and gets to keep his shit, then it's still a win... because he can still claim "political persecution" as part of his campaign strategy going into the General election.

This is indeed a win... albeit just a battle in a bigger war.

This clears the path for Trump to keep his assets and appeal the original ruling.

The fact that courts even did this indicate what they believe is going to happen on appeal... which is either a significantly reduced fine or that it's tossed altogether.

Either way, Trump is in a far and away better position today than he was Friday... and Queen Letitia ain't getting her hands on shit.
