When you get so angry you just want to kill or hurt someone,
anyone could end up being the target.

I knew a family where a 14 year old boy with anger issues had a fight with his mom,
and went to the bathroom and shot himself to spite her.

Some people have that mentality. A case in Houston just happened where a man, angry that his wife was leaving him and taking the kids with her restricting his access because of his abuse,
forced himself into the house of her sister and raped the sister after killing the husband and son.
He was angry they wouldn't tell him where she went, so he took it out on them as revenge.

And the worst part is the family also blamed the wife, saying he is normally a good man but was pushed to this by her!

So SICK!

but you can see it isn't the person by themselves. If they are sick, they should get help.
if they are surrounded by people who don't know that criminal sickness can be treated and either managed or cured,
they take advantage of people's fear and ignorance and continue on without getting help.

Until someone becomes a victim and t hen the law steps in.

The solution is to teach people how to screen for these illnesses and how to get help.
Right now the choices we give them are to file restraining orders and make the person madder and more dangerous.

We need to promote early diagnosis, intervention and treatment in order to develop a cure and system for handling this instead of inflaming such people more. We aren't taught how to handle it, so it gets in the news as a murder before these people get removed from society. And even in prisons and mental wards, they are warehoused and not helped or cured.

We need to convert prisons and mental health into more effective treatment centers for intervention and prevention,
not just punishment after the fact. WE can't just let sick people run around free while our systems are backlogged
because we keep creating more criminals, wasting resources that we could be using to correct criminal behavior.
