He Just Doesn't Care: Obama Has Missed Over Half His Second-term Daily Intel Briefings

Truly disgusting if you ask me. This man doesn't care about the national security of this country. This is another example of having a President who is not a natural born Citizen qualified to meet the founders original intent of Article 2 Section 1 of the Constitution.

Report Obama Has Missed over Half His Second-Term Daily Intel Briefings
He only attended 42% during his first term. Pres. George W Bush never missed any briefings and had tough followup questions. The POS in the White House now never has followup questions.
i didn't realize you were in the room for them.

Going over Daily Intelligence Briefings is top priority for every president! No wonder his foreign affairs is a failure. His top priority has been fund raisers, vacations and golf...

Oh, c'mon! I'd bet not one of those PDBs ever mentioned the entire JV team made it to the Varsity. They're usually rather fuzzy reports, with lots of ifs, maybes, etc.

What a gigantic load of horseshit! Hey anyone care to explain how the super right leaning GAI got these figures?

So he gets all the briefings, just not always in person.

lol, you people...
reading is hard for some people. why can't everyone just get briefed the way W. did - with finger puppets and coloring books?

also you have to love the idea that the president chooses to get his briefings in writing somehow allows people to claim that they didn't give him information. do you guys not understand what IT'S FUCKING WRITTEN DOWN means? you find testimony about what might have been said or not said in a verbal briefing more accurate than something in black and white? seriously?

I'm getting a chuckle out of this thread. As if the OP and others think the briefing is some meeting the President is supposed to attend and he's ditching it. The briefing is for his benefit...they design the meetings around HIS schedule.

Well, they might have problems with the written word, so they project that problem onto the President.

Presidents have always met with the Intelligence Director so there is a dialogue, you know a question and answer period. Not a postem note on the latest problems. You just can't absolve this president of his failure to be informed and ask the right questions, can you?

Fundraising is far more important than national security!

He doesn't care!
He's lazy!
He's on the public dole!
He's a thug!
He's shiftless!
He's triflin'

Keep em' comin', nutters. You are on a roll.
Does a person who cares about his job miss important things like security briefings?

Factcheck is a bitch

The bogus claim that Obama skips rsquo his intelligence briefings - The Washington Post

Clearly, different presidents have structured their daily briefing from the CIA to fit their unique personal styles. Many did not have an oral briefing, while three — two of whom are named Bush — preferred to deal directly with a CIA official. Obama appears to have opted for a melding of the two approaches, in which he receives oral briefings, but not as frequently as his predecessor.
Ultimately, what matters is what a president does with the information he receives from the CIA. Republican critics may find fault with Obama’s handling of foreign policy. But this attack ad turns a question of process — how does the president handle his intelligence brief? — into a misguided attack because Obama has chosen to receive his information in a different manner than his predecessor.
As it turns out, no president does it the exact same way. Under the standards of this ad, Republican icon Ronald Reagan skipped his intelligence briefings 99 percent of the time.

George W. took his job seriously and had his Daily Briefings every morning. He asked the Intelligence Director questions about hot spots and places he was concerned about before it was even mentioned by the Director. It was a thorough briefing. Not just an outline without a discussion.

What OBABBLE does care about is fulfilling his campaign prophecy that he would end our wars. He doubled down on that promise by believing his own rhetoric that AQ is decimated and on the run. That's what he campaigned on. That's why he and PIAPS lied about the video. He is lazy...he doesn't care much for the job...what he does love is himself and he will go to great lengths to maintain that love....of himself.
