only 200 self-defense homicides by civilians using guns.

Moron......the CDC measuring the number for 3 years came up with 2.4 million defensive gun uses...and they didn't have to kill every criminal, they ran away, gave up, or were simply wounded......

And that is only one of 16 different studies on defensive gun use.....
