My point here is that pace the narcos, "victimless" crimes invariably end up having victims.

The victims are those that are forced, not those that are willing. The sex slave business in the USA is alive and doing well. You will never stop it until men stop wanting sex.

I'm not sure I would draw any comparison. But Holland obviously thinks their lax laws also aid and abet sex trafficking. Not surprising since legal prostitution increases demand for "labor", thus opening the door to illegal supply.

If you are correct why is Amsterdam recondidering their prostitution laws. Pimps can always be slipped an extra few bucks to let a favored customer get to beat up a girl. The girls can always be replaced. That's what traffickers are for.

It doesn't matter if prostitution is legalized. There will still be whores violating the law. More objectionable are asinine and useless laws whose only purpose is to give liberals a chance to pat themselves on the back and pretend to help. They really do nothing of the kind. As long as someone is willing to pay more for beautiful women, blondes or redheads or very young children it will be made available. We can legalize the breeding and sale of women like they were particularly stunning race horses. We can brand them to combat rustling, tax the sale and monitor quality control for sex traffickers.

If women could be legally purchased from licensed breeders sex traffickers would have no need to kidnap them. The sex trafficking industry would disappear over night.
