Appearing alongside former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee Tuesday, Kentucky clerk Kim Davis was met with a hero's welcome in a rally outside the county detention center where she was jailed for six days.
Davis walked on stage to the stadium rock staple "Eye of the Tiger" shortly after her release from jail. While her lawyers have said she would not comment on the pending case, an emotional Davis gave a short address to the crowd.
"I just want to give God the glory...You are a strong people!" she said. "Keep on pressing."
Huckabee was the other undisputed star of the rally, hugging Davis and commending the Rowan County clerk for her courage. A statement from the Republican's campaign said after meeting with Davis on Tuesday, Huckabee "escorted her out of jail."
