How Can White Americans Be Democrats ?

Did you support Jim Crow Law? Do you know who benefited from AA?
1. No

2. Minorities, especially blacks. Often many minorities, like myself (half Hispanic), were discriminated against rather than for.

3. A relative few women benefitted from AA, but they are a tiny fraction of all the white women who were victimized by it.

Racial discrimination against WHITES?

WTF planet do you live on...or more accurately...what country do you live in...

The United States fell below replacement levels of fertility back in the late 1980s. Without immigration our population would be on the decline as well.

This is why Dimocrats do not care about border security. They know that little by little white Americans are leaving their party. They know their future is Hispanic, and they want as many illegals here as possible since once they become citizens they sign up to the party of government handouts.

Well, let's see.
  1. The fact that Trump was/is supported by avowed racists, white nationalists and white supremacists such as David Duke and Richard Spencer
  2. The fact that Donald Trump himself claimed to not know who David Duke even freaking IS, after earlier calling him a "racist and a problem"
  3. The fact that many on the Right steadfastly maintain that racism is history (and we see that on USMB), when minorities damn well know better
  4. The fact that many on the Right refuse to admit that the Right has race issues of any kind, pretending that the number is very small/insignificant
For four examples.
.
1. Hillary Clinton was supported by the entire Muslim Brotherhood, documented to destroy and eliminate America, and the Constitution, and replace it with an Islamic state. She also was, and still is, supported by millions of anti-white racists who support race-based Affirmative Action.
2. No source/link provided. Are we supposed to take this on faith ?
3. The right DOES NOT maintain that racism is history. It maintains that racism is alive and well in 2019, IN AFFRIMATIVE ACTION, and yes, minorities know it quite well.
4. The Right's race issue is to abolish affirmative action in all 50 states (currently banned in only 8 states), and other discrimination against whites.

Indeed, it's hard to believe that the second biggest party of the country stands for replacement of its own citizens and discrimination against majority of its citizens... in short genocide of its own population.

In Japan, they probably can't believe it.
It's hard to believe that any white person would vote for these vipers.

So what's wrong with that? Who said it's vital that our populations consistently grow and not decrease?
Actually, it is beneficial to America to have a declining population. Geographers have long agreed that the optimum American population is about 30 million, approximately same as Canada. The level (less than 1/10 of our current population) was reached in 1860. Other than cases of very high MERIT, we should have had zero immigration since then.

And yes, I do have a college degree in Geography (and Economics as well)

A party that supports racial discrimination against whites, is supported by millions of whites ? Whaaat ? "I don't believe it" is what millions of people in other countries say. Here in America, though, we know it to be true. It (Affirmative Action) was formally and openly stated in the 2004 and 2008 platforms of the Democratic party.

2004 >> "the party "support affirmative action to redress discrimination and to achieve the diversity from which all Americans benefit."

2008 >> ""We support affirmative action, including in federal contracting and higher education, to make sure that those locked out of the doors of opportunity will be able to walk through those doors in the future"

The words "Affirmative Action" are not mentioned in the National Democratic Party platforms of 2012 and 2016, however the description of it, with goals to achieve diversity are mentioned. Seems like Democrats are becoming rather defensive about the idea of racially discriminating in order to stop racially discriminating.

There's an obvious reason why Democrats have removed the words "affirmative action" from their national platforms. Overwhelmingly, the American people oppose the concept. Almost two-thirds of Americans disagree with the June 2016 Supreme Court ruling on affirmative action, that allows public colleges to use race as a factor in their admissions decisions.

According to a Gallup poll conducted over June 29 through July 2, 2016, 70 percent of Americans say merit should be the only factor in college admissions. That number has stayed relatively stable over the last 12 years.

Poll finds surprising American opinions on affirmative action

In California, Democrats HAVE used the words Affirmative Action in their state platform >> "California Democrats will > Encourage, support and defend voluntary, and mandatory affirmative action measures aimed at enhancing equality in employment, education, and business opportunities;"

So with all this discrimination where non-whites are the beneficiaries, and whites are the victims, why do white Democrats support it ? Does Nancy Pelosi think it's OK for her many sons, daughters, and grandkids to be victims of this racist discrimination, when applying for college, for college financial aid, job hiring, job promotions, business loans, etc, ?

The open borders issue shows the world that the Democratic Party regards Anglo Voters to be their opposition.

People bring their problems to the Democratic Party. Lots of different reasons for being one, unlike the Republicans who all have the same problem.
Show me a notable Democrat who openly opposes race-based Affirmative Action. I can wait all week.

Why is 30 million the optimum population?

And as I said earlier, many are Democrats for many other reasons.
.
You can talk about those "other reasons" in other threads. This one is about anti-white racism in Affirmative Action, and Democrats support of it.

How can whites vote democrat since democrats are racist since they are against whites, the op says. Well, you could also say how can decent people of any color vote republican since so many republicans fly the rebel flag proudly and a good number of them wear the nazi or klan uniform. Question should be, why do our politicians borrow money and drive us further into debt by sending billions to billionaires and corporations in the form of tax cuts. Jay Gould once said he could hire half the workers to kill the other half. Looks like our money masters are doing the same by pitting the working class against each other so much so that we don't realize that it's this huge transfer of wealth to just a few individuals and corporations that's slowly turning us into a nation of poor people.

Why is 30 million the optimum population?
I forgot to mention >> "relative to resource base" One way to look at it is to compare the US with Canada. 2 countries with a very similar resource base, but widely different populations.

For decades, Canada with only 30 million people, was the USA's # 1 supplier of oil. They had a surplus of oil. We had a deficit of it. We bought it. They sold it. We spent money. They MADE MONEY (and lot of it). If we had been selling oil as long as they did, we wouldn't have debts and deficits.

Plus, Canada has long had a Point System of immigration, keeping their population down to barely more than 30 million. We, stupidly have had chain migration system that expands our population quickly, with much of it from the 3rd world "shithole countries" bringing high %s of welfare leeches to drain our tax treasuries.

I think by registering as a democrat.
Try addressing the OP.

affirmative action is not really all that serious of an issue, tbh. I'm not in favor but there are far more important things to worry about.

Besides, if you remove race as a factor, then it mostly just benefits Asians, since they tend to have the best actual qualifications. Not white people.

Wait until the doctor you see is a minority that got into and graduated medical school based on the color of his skin not the ability to do the job.
