How do you feel about religion being taught in our schools?

I generally don't "expect" them to personally attack me for saying religion shouldn't be taught in school.

As an Atheist I don't think religion should be taught in schools. Don't get me wrong, I actually have nothing against religion. It's the teachers union I don't trust. What if the teachers teach religion as well as they teach math and reading? We'll have an entire generation who thinks Jesus was brought gifts by the three musketeers and then slew Goliath inside a whale as Joan of Arc and her husband floated on a boat with a couple of gerbils. My theory? Let the schools start showing improvement on the basics before we expand their curriculum.

I wouldn't have any problem with teaching the truth of islam. Make sure Muhammad is shown as a pig and always a pig when students are learning about him.
