How Far Will the SCOTUS Go On Behalf of Muslims ?

True, but the law doesn't say that employers must accomodate a cowboy hat, or a red non-religious hat or a white non-religious hat. The law treats religious accessories with preference.
Islam is not a religion, and the hijab is not part of Islam (the Koran)
Yup, it is, and the hijab is accepted as appropriate religious expression by devout Muslim women.

"How Far Will the SCOTUS Go On Behalf of Muslims ?"

Again, as the consequence of the OP's ignorance, stupidity, and unwarranted hatred of Islam, he has no idea what the issues were concerning the case the Court ruled on, in that it had nothing to do with Muslims.

The case could have concerned any person of any faith; at issue was the requirement of employers to acknowledge religious accommodations pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, not the merits of Islam nor the Court acting 'on behalf' of Muslims.

The OP is a bigot and liar.

As a supporter of Islam, that's what YOU are. I don't think you got it right. They didn't want to hire her because she wasn't conforming to their "look policy" for sales people (no headwear). If she had been a Jew, and was wearing a yamulka, or a Catholic wearing a baseball cap, she would have been denied also.

This girl was looking to stir up a hornet's nest, and she did. The case should never have been a case at all. There is no case. It has nothing to do with ANY religion, or any civil rights. You don't have a civil right to be hired to a job.

If the employer was smart, they would have said nothing at all. I have applied for jobs in the past and been turned down without a word spoken. No turndown letter. Nothing.

AS for CCJ's laughable everpresent charge of "ignorance", he got a ZERO on the Islamization Quiz ? Hey, Clayton want to show off your ignorance, some more ? Who are these people ? >>> Barbara Cook, Najib al-Ghosh, Mohammed Salah,. And what is this ? > al-Amal.

HA HA. Poor Jake Starkey. Trembling in his boots. Afraid of the TRUTH, to the point of advocating censorship. Not very American. He should move to Saudi Arabia or North Korea.

Nope, it isn't, and when is a Mr Islamization Zero, going to learn to not argue Islamization, with the Islamization expert, the Protectionist ? The closest the Koran comes to the subject of women covering themselves is in Sura 24:30 amd 24:31. All these say is that men should lower their gaze when approaching women, and women should cover their breasts. It says nothing of covering hair. No charge for the correction.

What does that mean, "religious expression"? How is the covering of ones hair, if one is a female, an expression of devotion? Why did the being that authored the koran put that in there? Well, let me explain how it works.

A young females goes from being a child into womanhood, early teens. She is full of confusion about so many things. Now her family says her religion states that she must cover her hair in public. Why? From Islams Women - The Virtues of Hijab

1. An act of obedience.

The hijab is an act of obedience to Allah and to his prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Allah says in the Quran:

"It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His messenger have decreed a matter that they should have an option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), has indeed strayed in a plain error." [Noble Quran 33:36]

Allah also said:

"And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things) and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc) and not to show off their adornment except what must (ordinarily) appear thereof, that they should draw their veils over their Juyubihinnah." [Noble Quran 24:31]

Juyubihinnah: The respected scholars from As-Salaf As-Saleh (righteous predecessors) differed whether the veil cover of the body must include the hands and face or not. Today, respected scholars say that the hands and face must be covered. Other respected scholars say it is preferable for women to cover their whole bodies.

So this young woman, still a girl really, feels ashamed and when she goes out in public in a western society she is ashamed and of course feels ridiculed. So she goes home and wonders why her family would do this to her, why would her god do this to her. Not wanting to hate her parents or her god she turns to the koran. Its dark tentacles wrap around her mind and around her soul. She see that the lowest of muslims is higher than the most righteous of non-muslim. She sees that it is the infidels to blame for how she feels. She reads that she should suggest and even encourage her brother to kill infidels. (This is not hyperbole. The koran literally says kill infidels, everywhere, all the time, and no reason is needed other than the fact that they are non-believers.). She talks to her brother whom she loves very much, as he does her, they grew up together. He understands that she is now separated from him by this god's commandment. Her brother, not wanting to question his parents and strictly forbidden to question god seeks meaning from the koran. Its dark tentacles wrap around his mind and his soul. He sees that the problem is the infidels he must kill the infidels from off the earth. So, with the help of the deity of islam, he starts his planning and waiting for his opportunity to avenge his sister.

And just maybe A & F does not want to support the abuse of females. Maybe they believe it is wrong to shame females into believing they are a lesser gender. But the supreme court feels otherwise, that it is not the decision of A & F to decide who can and can not be abused. SCOTUS believes religion is above moral dignity. Well, the SCOTUS is wrong, and so is islam.

Since neither you nor RV are experts or even informed on Islam, your statements are meaningless.

Chowderheads such as RV and Protectionist don't define what is meaningful in any religion.

An Infringement to their secular and temporal, Individual Liberty; even women have recourse to our Ninth Amendment.

Why do you believe i practice not judging women by the clothes they don't wear on the Internet, and try to port it to real life whenever I have the presence of mind to do so as a secular and temporal moral for modern times?

But to what age does the Ninth Amendment extend? Can a sixteen year old get a court order which states her parents, and religion, can not shame her in public, a form of abuse.

(I will admit I had to look the Ninth Amendment.)

Again, as the consequence of the OP's ignorance, stupidity, and unwarranted hatred of Islam, he has no idea what the issues were concerning the case the Court ruled on, in that it had nothing to do with Muslims.

If she had been a Jew wearing a yamulka, and had been denied based on that - she would have had a case and the Scotus would have ruled the same.
