Hunter Biden to plead guilty of two minor crimes (tax and a gun) Two year probation likely

what do you mean they “report to” Biden? You think that prosecutors are running their prosecution decisions by the president?

You’re not that stupid.
Well you might be wrong about that one.

Facts matter until a Democrat commits a criminal act. Then facts be damned.

All the above committed literal crimes yet the worst they got was a slap on the wrist.
You want to pay $1.2 million slap on the wrist for Hunter?

LOL....Well it's not like I can make the "position of trust" argument with that crack-head. :laughing0301:

I was hoping IM2 would wade in on the injustice of it all. ;)

Conspiracy Threat bait!
During a portion of an interview with the Fox News Channel aired on Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump responded to claims in the federal indictment of him that he showed a secret document to other people by stating that there wasn’t any document “These were newspaper stories, magazine stories, and articles.” And that while he couldn’t declassify things while he was out of office, “There was nothing to declassify.”

Trump stated, [relevant remarks begin around 6:10] “It wasn’t a document. I had lots of paper. I had copies of newspaper articles. I had copies of magazines.”

He added, “When I said that I couldn’t declassify it now, that’s because I wasn’t President. I never made any bones about that. When I’m not President, I can’t declassify. … But that wasn’t a document. Bret, there was no document. That was a massive amount of papers and everything else, talking about Iran and other things. And it may have been held up or it may not. But that was not a document. I didn’t have a document per se. There was nothing to declassify. These were newspaper stories, magazine stories, and articles.”

Earlier in the interview, he stated that he didn’t have any Iran war plans, “that I know of. But everything was declassified.”

Lying on a Federal 4473 is a felony. Now that we know you and the rest of the left don't care about federal firearms felonies, I'm looking forward to telling you all to go fuck yourselves when the "assault weapons" ban goes into effect. And you shouldn't care, either, right?

I'm sure after the ATF takes you out in a black bag, you can take comfort in that you really showed them.

As long as we all agree that ignoring federal firearms laws deserves only a "slap on the wrist", I'm happy.
Which law was broken? Not all laws are equal. Just as not all people charged with what Hunter was charged with get the plea deals.

Real criminals like say -- insurrectionists should get no plea deals.

That's weird. I heard his support jumped.

Course MSN is like AOL and CNN.
Fake News.
His support did jump after the April indictment and has held steady since the federal indictment. Mediate is a strongly left wing fringe source that has frequently posted polls that are way off the mainstream.

Per Politico, nobody's idea of a right wing source:

I honestly don't expect the Feds to arrest everyone on a minor infraction of the gun laws.

I just expect them to arrest the bad actors.

My solution to the gun thing is simple. Let the gun industry manage the background check system.
ANd then let anyone who is killed or injured by a gun sue them in court for giving a gun to the wrong person.

I'll betcha they tighten up the screening like a fly's asshole after that.
Not a bad idea, but the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Guns Act prevents anyone from suing the gun manufacturers when their products are used to break the law. So first, we got to repeal the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Guns Act. That is a hard sell in today's Congress, not going to happen. But the tide is turning.
