Hunter is 100% the victim of deep state right wing lawfare

The form doesn't say, "Have you ever been" it says "are you"

Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?

If he stopped using, underwent rehab, and sincerely believed he was clean, then he wasn't lying.
Not being under the influence at the exact moment you sign the form doesn’t mean you didn’t lie. The dude was using drugs before and after he submitted the application.

He knowingly lied.

Nope, that's not what the form asks.

Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?

PRESENT TENSE. Not past tense.
He is and was an illegal drug user and addicted to drugs.

But was he at the time he filled out the form?

I would argue, not.

And only one juror has to agree with me.
He was before and after. He lied about his drug use and habit. What difference does it make if he was not high the moment he filled out the form?

He was before and after.
But not at the time.

He lied about his drug use and habit.
Or he was in denial.

What difference does it make if he was not high the moment he filled out the form?
Because the form calls for self-assessment, while addicts are often in denial.

If they REALLY wanted to keep addicts from buying guns (or even casual drug users), simply have them pee in a cup when they apply to buy a gun. But we won't do that.

Simple - because of unconstitutional violation of his rights.
Lets say a whopping 70% of all New Yorkers would throw out their integrity and convict Trump even though he was innocent. The odds of a whole jury doing that is

or better expressed as a1.3% chance of being convicted, or 98.7% change to get aquitted. Youre assumptions are so blatantly false it's inarguable. Shit.. not even 30% of people would do that and then your odds are

or better expressed as 0.0000531%. The odds he was railroaded are almost zero.

But not at the time.

He obviously lied about his drug use and addiction. It makes no difference that he may not have been high at the moment he signed the form. He was indeed an illegal drug user and an addict at that period in his life.
