Pretty much.

He's not any part of "the government" that affects me.

I don't live in NC. I don't plan on visiting their any time soon. His opinions of his constituents are of no consequence.

I prefer to save my "outrage" for things that actually matter to me.

I would say that it does make me feel better - at least better than I imagine you guys must feel.

I would hate to be so "outraged" all the time. I think that would feel terrible.
