It was a really great move actually. You all can speculate all you want about what Trumps motives were, but at the end of the day, Assad gassed people and we destroyed the facility that was conducting the nerve gas attacks. This is a good thing.

Obama drew a red line in the sand and when Syria crossed it, he didnt back up his threat. This made us look weak, which emboldened Assads regime. Trump is showing that he doesnt fuck around. This also has the added benefit of sending a strong message to North Korea. Obama didnt do shit about NKs nuclear program, but Trump seems like he will. Dont think for a second that Kim Jong Un slept well tonight.

He also says he is defending the United States and its allies. This contradicts Trump who lectured Obama not to attack Syria. Also, Trump has to date shown no concern for Syrian refugee children and their families. Maybe yesterday he saw children dying on Fox News and he was upset enough to believe that he should do something. This time when he says, "You're fired!", Tomahawk missiles land on a Syrian military base. It must be wondered, does he know what he is doing?

Yes, it doesn't take rocket science to see what Trump is up to. This missile attack was just a diversion to avert attention from his domestic troubles.
