So...I know.....the anti gunners are going nuts when they find out that you don't need a permit to carry a gun in Idaho......they will claim it is going to lead to a blood bath, rivers of blood in the street...blah blah blah.....and of course that has yet to happen anywhere where normal people are allowed to carry guns...in fact, our gun crime rate has gone down, not up as people carry guns for self defense....and this is not about causation....this is about the fact that as more Americans have carried guns, the gun murder rate, the gun crime rate and the violent crime rate did not go up....it went down....
Showing for all to see that normal people carrying guns for self defense does not create more crime......the truth, the fact and the reality......

Now.......the anti gunners will say...now anyone can carry a gun without filing the right paperwork...even criminals.....and of course they are wrong...as they are wrong on all issues related to guns in this country.
Felons cannot buy, own or carry guns...right now...under current laws. If they are caught doing any of those 3 things, they can be arrested.
But....but........what will police do with all of these people carrying guns without paperwork.....
Easy....
You get stopped.....the cop asks for your name and birthdate and drivers license...runs your name through he system looking for outstanding warrants...and you come up clean...no convictions.......so you go on your way, with or without your ticket for speeding......all the while you were carrying your pistol legally...since you aren't a felon.
Now, let's say you are a felon.....you get stopped....the cop runs you through the exact same system as he did for the normal person above...this time he gets a hit that you are a convicted felon......he then asks if you have a gun and searches you....you get caught with a gun.....bingo...you can now be arrested because felons can't carry a gun.....
See how that works....and no need for extra levels of paperwork, or bureaucracy to achieve the arrest...and normal gun owners are not put in jeapordy of arrest for simple clerical errors.......
