One of my coworkers broke his back in a car accident when he was in college and was paralyzed from the waist down. He was one of the most liked and respected teachers in the entire school. Despite being in a wheelchair, I'll bet he could still bust a cap on a school shooter, push himself out of the chair and beat the bastard to make sure he was dead.
