We can not build a fence around the United States. We also know that it is not all that hard to go over our fence.

We only have to build the fence on the Southern border, and we can easily do that.

We all know that fences work. That's why you oppose them.

I don't oppose it. I simply note that they aren't being enforced, and I see no reason to expect that they ever will be enforced.

News reports never said that. Trump said that. He said hordes of raper/killers were coming to storm the border and only his big, new, glorious wall would stop them. And his big new wall didn't exist at the time.

If the old fence/wall was enough to stop the hordes, we wouldn't need Trump's big beautiful magic wall, silly. So all those raper/killers came right on through. They must have. They were mad, rabid hordes storming the border. They didn't show up at the border here at Tijuana, so I'm pretty sure our Meemaws made it through okay.

The old wall was a pthetic piece of shit made of surplus runway mats and it's only 10 feet tall. No one who supports building the wall would claim the old one is effective. The fact that it isn't is precisely why we need a new 30 foot tall wall.
