First of all, it's inflation rates, not inflation. The compounded damage from the highest inflation rates in 40+ years is still eating into individuals' wallets. Regardless, why does the left always leverage the macro-level indicators instead of what's actually happening to individuals? The September figures, at a glance:
YoY: 2.4% increase in September from a year ago vs. 2.3% expected
MoM: 0.2% increase in September from August vs. 0.1% expected
Core YoY: 3.3% increase in September from a year ago vs. 3.2% expected
Core MoM: 0.3% increase in September from August vs. 0.2% increase expected
