Is Biden going to do ANYTHING to lower gas prices since there is an upcoming election?

FACTS suck huh! We have TONS of oil. Were we to start extracting it we could flood the market. You know what that would do to prices?

Childish indeed, idiot

"Flooding the market" would be stupid. It would cause tons of problems. It's far more expensive to store oil above ground as opposed to leaving it where it is currently at when not needed.

There are no shortages. We need to remove the "hedge fund" money from the markets.

It's the one thing I look forward to during election season. Gas is still about double from when he took over.
Do you anticipate any changes out of the administration to try tackling these high prices?
Prices lowering around election time in the past, has always been from Saudi Arabia increasing production.... Not these past president's doings.

He has been. A complete failure but the failures never stopped with the other party in charge either.
All of that Great Society legislation along with the aging of the population with Social Security and Medicare and the increasingly undeclared wars and military actions funding has grown as it has to. Exponential increases in spending that no amount of taxation will temper. if a party attempts to cut spending the Progs will jump on it and accuse Republicans of the deaths of hundreds of millions of Americans. The other day AOC and Nadler were besieged from New Yorkers over legislation. And they did not even pay attention to them. I remember in a federal reserve financial meeting Nadler walking behind a seated Ron Paul doing physical fear we are so scared moves. Ron Paul is more and more going to be proven right. 20% inflation since Joe took over. Those with no COLA's, fixed incomes and stringent pay increases are the ones suffering.

So have millions of people. Are they responsible for the debt as well dolt?

Yes. anyone that has voted for the duopoly over the past 30 years is responsible for the debt

You want another release from the Strategic Reserve?

You all bitched about that last time

What other tools are there to use?

I don't know lets see.

1. Quit shutting down new drilling
2. Quit cancelling oil leases
3. Commit to and finish the pipeline from Canada to the US
4. Open up ANWR for drilling
5. Increase domestic production

There are many other things you can do besides taking from the SOR to lower gas prices. Stupid fucking liberal. Trump brought them down and didn't TOUCH the SOR.

Domestic production has been and still is, INCREASING under Biden.
Not fast enough

Biden is on record promising to destroy the oil industry

Libs want electric cars and only electric cars

So what? Always with the excuse, "the Republicans are afraid of the Democrats saying bad things about them".

Ron Paul ran for president. He wasn't supported.

Why would an oil company do this?

What other companies can you think of that would flood the market to drop the price of their product?

They can charge whatever they want for it so be thankful it costs as little as it does.

Because having cheaper gas is a nice problem for American consumers.

Why would anybody want higher gas prices?

It would mean large lay offs in the industry as there would be nowhere to store the oil and people would be out of work, but all is good as long as you get a temporary cut in prices.

As I noted, we could remove the excess money from the markets. Yes, your 401k may take an initial hit.

Since the US has been oil dependent since before Kennedy was President, gasoline prices are still at the mercy of OPEC+, who have been cutting production, perhaps to match our increase in production.

NONE of that will have any effect in the short term
