The GOP says that sequestration is no big deal, it happened lots of times before with good results.

The dems say it will impact services etc.

Lets take a poll to see who is drinking the Kool-Aid.

Dear leader Maobama will make it as harsh as possible, purely to score political points, he has no concern for the country, he just want to be able to say I told you so. I can just imagine the FOIA request that will come asking for communications between the WH and department heads concerning the sequester. The crap will hit the fan.

The politics of fear.

The only thing to fear is....

how the liberal media will twist reality to make the GOP out to be the bad guy...

Seriously, if we could only figure out how to get quarterly sequesters through the rest of Obama's second term --- we would finally be on the rieght track!

It's terrible, but not for the reason given in the poll question. It SHOULD be worked out so that deeper cuts are made to the programs that can better afford them; having mindless cuts across the board is just stupid.

please --- been talked in circles --- there are no CUTS --- only cuts to increases... as if Obama would EVER make a cut...

NO LEADERSHIP at the TOP

Either way, the point holds. No leadership on the Hill, besides.

way to frame a poll.
Do you work for Rassmussen by any chance?

* time for some pay back by Hagel - those red state's defense projects could use a little trimming ...

It is manufactured fear based on false information.. there are no cuts.. there are very slight reductions in proposed increases... there is more money being spent than was last year.. there is NOT a reduction in spending

No one knows the outcome. Or no one who knows is talking. Some I'm sure have an idea, but rather than share they will turn a profit.

It is bad. We need more borrowing and spending now. The US government is the employer of last resort. Lets put people to work. NOW!

Cutting spending now is fucking stupid.

You left out the one real option, it doesn't even cut spending, why all the fuss?

Why would Obama threaten to veto any bill that actually gave him that type of discretion?

Everyone knows the outcome, a big pile of nothing.
