The problem here is that there will always be some uncertainty about how quickly Saddam can acquire nuclear weapons. But we don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud.

Chemical weapons are not automatically weapons of mass destruction. I have heard about mustard gas grenades found by the Americans in Iraq 2003.

Dunno what ISIS found in the facility, but I am sure they are eager for making use of it. Hopefully that instable stuff will have killed the terrorists before they can use it.

True...just as Nuclear waste has to be guarded as terrorists can get hold of it and manufacture a 'dirty bomb'...

Those in question WERE found by our forces and due to their condition, the military thought it prudent to leave them alone and not disturb them, and kept them guarded, that is until el-schmucko presidente pulled us out of there and left it to the Iraqui forces to deal with.

No shithead, as General Sada stated, all of Saddam's nuclear material was taken to a site in Syria, that turned out to be Syria's NUCLEAR REACTOR site, that was bombed out of existence in 2007 by an Israeli Aircraft raid... hardly a word said at the U.N. about that....wonder why?

So if you have some nuclear material or a nuclear reactor, it's just that simple to make a nuclear weapon? Is that what you think?
