Isn't this the opposite of what Trumpist's have been saying in Don's defense?

All throughout the battle over whether Congress has the right to compel witness testimony and document production by the WH pertaining to the impeachment inquiry Trumpists have maintained it is a matter for the courts to decide. So.............WTF?

DOJ On McGahn: Courts Have No Role In Fights Between Congress, White House
DOJ On McGahn: Courts Have No Role In Fights Between Congress, White House

"Federal courts should not rule on separation-of-powers disputes between Congress and the White House, the Justice Department argued Friday.

The oral arguments came in D.C. federal appeals court as the House Judiciary Committee seeks to enforce a subpoena it issued in April for testimony from former White House counsel Don McGahn.

“We have two branches at loggerheads here, and the question is, is there no proper role for the court?” asked Judge Judith Rogers at one point.

Hashim Mooppan, arguing for the DOJ, contended that Congress needs to rely on “political remedies, political tools” to resolve the dispute, and repeatedly warned that were the court to decide on the merits of the case, “there would be case after case” like this."

What political remedy? It seems to me that if Team Trump was confident it their legal argument they would want the courts to decide the matter.

I guess what they are saying went over your head. They are saying they won’t be a part of this farce and they aren’t getting involved in political theater.

Now go pound sand.

We have already wasted enough time and money on this farce. We don't need to drag the courts in as well. Just like the Russian Collusion farce, this Impeachment is baseless nonsense and should not have seen the light of day.

So..........neither of the Trumpist nitwits who responded have any idea how to explain this inconsistency in the "let the courts decide" narrative. How very embarrassing for you.

Regardless of your view on the impeachment, it is a question that needs to be answered. It will come up again.

Your assertion that "Trumpists have always maintained it is for the courts to decide" is a generalization that you made up. I am not compelled to support your generalization
