Israel Kills At Least 15 Syrian Soldiers in Bombings In Syria

georgephillip, et al,

Not to worry, my cappuccino is the most dynamic to be found anywhere in the National Security environment.

You better make that a double CENTCOM cappuccino if you're going to persist in apologizing for the greatest purveyor of violence on this planet, Rocco.

(IMPORTANT POINTS)

  • Being able to control violence, is not the same thing as being a "purveyor."
  • Being able to focus violence, is not the same as being a "purveyor."
  • Being able to use focused violence to counter uncontrolled violence, is not the same as being a "purveyor."

Osama bin Laden (ObL) expressed himself as a defender against a great evil. ObL sees his movement as an instrument of his deity --- given the authority to fight the "unbeliever."

ObL fought against America because (in his words): "Because you attacked us and continue to attack us." And with that premise, ObL lists several places where America has attacked the interests he fought to protect: Somalia and Kashmir are noted.

ObL accuses the US of stealing wealth and oil; spreading military bases; starving the Muslims of Iraq (also using the victimization of children as an example). But very first issue ObL points to is Palestine.

ObL accuses the US of attacking them (meaning Muslims) in Palestine "to protect the security of the Jews and to ensure the continuity of your pillage of our treasures." THEN, the accusation goes on to point out that America is responsible for "Jewish aggression against us in Lebanon."

(COMMENT)

Now, one might think that the pro-ObL/Palestinian might be just a bit more appreciative of America, now that we've personally escorted him to that great meeting with his deity and maker. And we will, without question, offer the same travel arrangements to any one that want to be an ObL follower in the jihad against America.

Americans already know that whatever the troubles might be in the region, from the smallest coffee spill to the largest Arab initiated war, people like ObL will never accept any responsibility for the dilemma or catastrophe; unable to assume the consequences for their actions. ObL and the Palestinian mimic each other, parroting the same complaints and accusations. The fact that ObL is used as a reference to support the Palestinian cause, is a bit foolish and counterproductive; and for most American, reason enough to challenge any position ObL might find as just cause for attacking America.

The pro-Palestinian cause would do well to step as far away from any connection, association or causal connection they might make between ObL and the Arab/Palestinian jihadist justification against the State of Israel. It will only muddy the waters.

There is nothing that ObL stood for, no Muslim cause he promoted, that will not be despised by America; merely through association. If ObL claimed the sky was blue, Americans would have to check.

I recommend you use a different Muslim patron saint, something cleaner than ObL. His justification was beyond the limit of a reasonable man's acceptance. And just as association with al-Qaeda is problematic relative to Syria, trying to use ObL radical fundamentalism to the issue is even worse.

The mere fact that ObL supported the Palestinian cause and used it as justification to attack America is reason enough to assume the Palestinian has no just cause whatsoever.

Here's the thing.

Syria hasn't attacked Israel and is in the midst of a civil war.

Israel didn't come in on either side, she attacked in self interested based on a perception.

Additionally, the lobbed bombs and ran.

That's pretty chickenshit and an act of war.

Shipping weapons to Hezbollah, who have clearly expressed their desire to destroy the Jewish State, and who have intentionally targeted civilians in Israel, is an act of war.
Israel has warned Syria many times about this, it's not like they acted without warning.

And what do you mean 'lobbed bombs and ran'. You expect the jets to stay in the air and wait to get shot down ??? And Syria has an army, they can try and get their revenge on Israel with their Air Force. I;m sure that will go over well.

Your post is full of shit.

Noone buys that we are bombing weapons going to Hezbollah lie, it is a waste of time spouting it.
And no one is buying into your lie that Syria is not transferring weapons to Hezbollah.

What about the tens of thousands the Syrian regime has killed in Syria? go fuck yourself Sherri.

Israel destroyed weapons consisting of missiles---
-which they-- by tradition --- mount on missile launchers which
themselves are mounted on trucks. -- They maneuver the trucks
to be situated as close to the cribs of infants on their own side
as they can and then launch the missiles cross border in the
direction of the heads of Israeli children ----
whilst screaming ISASHITHUAKBARRR----
they drive the trucks from the scene as quickly as possible ---and
stand on hills happily watching the return fire smash into the
children at the location from which they fired off their
missiles-----they then stick their asses in the air
and murmur------"there is but one great cosmic lump of shit--
and it is us"

Then please tell us what you think happened George. I would love to here your take in a nutshell of the events surrounding 9/11 .... I'm not trying to mock you, I just want to know your theory
Here is where I would start the investigation if I was seriously interested in finding the truth:

"After the September 11, 2001, attacks, Rowley wrote a paper for FBI Director Robert Mueller documenting how FBI HQ personnel in Washington, D.C., had mishandled and failed to take action on information provided by the Minneapolis, Minnesota Field Office regarding its investigation of suspected terrorist Zacarias Moussaoui.

"Moussaoui had been suspected of being involved in preparations for a suicide-hijacking similar to the December 1994 "Eiffel Tower" hijacking of Air France 8969. Failures identified by Rowley may have left the U.S. vulnerable to the September 11, 2001, attacks.

"Rowley was one of many agents frustrated by the events that led up to the attacks, writing:

During the early aftermath of September 11th, when I happened to be recounting the pre–September 11th events concerning the Moussaoui investigation to other FBI personnel in other divisions or in FBIHQ, almost everyone's first question was "Why?--Why would an FBI agent(s) deliberately sabotage a case? (I know I shouldn't be flippant about this, but jokes were actually made that the key FBI HQ personnel had to be spies or moles, like (Robert Hanssen), who were actually working for Osama Bin Laden to have so undercut Minneapolis's effort.) [2][3]"

Coleen Rowley - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I don't claim to know how 911 happened the way it did.
I do know there will come a generation of Americans who will not judge those of us who were adults when the attack happened very kindly. To be more blunt: they will see a cohort of cowards who were afraid of a full public investigation into the tragedy.

George, I am more of a rational person. I believe what Bin Laden said as his reasons for the 9/11 attacks. The two main reason were America's bases all over the Middle East, and America's support for Israel.
I also believe that if the government had been able to prevent the attack, they would have.
I agree that 99% of those who make up our government would have sacrificed their own lives and, in some cases, the lives of their immediate family members to have prevented 911. I don't believe that about the richest 1% of those who make up our government. They serve an even smaller percentage of Americans whose lifestyles don't exist without war. I suspect some of those psychopaths would have sacrificed members of their immediate family to help topple the towers, thereby giving birth to the War on Terror's$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ "You're either for us or against us."

You're 99% correct, George, but do you have a list of the 1% who are members of the Government. And don't list Kerry, it's his wife's money.

Prior to his death on May 2, 2011, the FBI listed bin Laden as one of the "10 Most Wanted" in connection with several incidents including the USS Cole bombing and the 1998 United States embassy bombings in East Africa. The FBI's "FBI Most Wanted Terrorists" poster does not specifically hang responsibility for 9/11 on bin Laden, instead it only states "Bin Laden is a suspect in other terrorist attacks throughout the world."[56]

Immediately after September 11, 2001 bin Laden praised the attacks,[57] but denied responsibility for them.[58] On September 16, 2001, an Al Jazeera news presenter read a message purportedly signed by Osama bin Laden, in which the following words were stated:

I stress that I have not carried out this act, which appears to have been carried out by individuals with their own motivation.

"Cheney's Halliburton Made $39.5 Billion on Iraq War
By Angelo Young, International Business Times
20 March 13

"The accounting of the financial cost of the nearly decade-long Iraq War will go on for years, but a recent analysis has shed light on the companies that made money off the war by providing support services as the privatization of what were former U.S. military operations rose to unprecedented levels.

"Private or publicly listed firms received at least $138 billion of U.S. taxpayer money for government contracts for services that included providing private security, building infrastructure and feeding the troops.

"Ten contractors received 52 percent of the funds, according to an analysis by the Financial Times that was published Tuesday.

"The No. 1 recipient?

"Houston-based energy-focused engineering and construction firm KBR, Inc. (NYSE:KBR), which was spun off from its parent, oilfield services provider Halliburton Co. (NYSE:HAL), in 2007."

Why, Yousef Mohammed, those responsible for the planning and carrying out of the 9/11 attack are very proud of what they had done and wouldn't want a pipsqueak twat like you trying to take the credit away from them. Next time you visit America to renew the Green Card that you supposedly have, why not visit them in their jail cell and talk to them all about it. One of them will surely open up to you the same way he opened up to an Al Jazeera reporter.

"In Kuala Lumpur, after two years of investigation by the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Commission (KLWCC), a tribunal (the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal, or KLWCT) consisting of five judges with judicial and academic backgrounds reached a unanimous verdict that found George W Bush and Tony Blair guilty of crimes against peace, crimes against humanity, and genocide as a result of their roles in the Iraq War."

Good thing ol' Shrub and Bub are entrepreneurs.
I wonder if they're looking into pressure cooker futures?

"War must be outlawed. That will have to be our struggle for now. We must struggle for justice and freedom from oppression, from economic hegemony. But we must remove the threat of war first. With this sword of Damocles hanging over our heads we can never succeed in advancing the interests of our countries.?War must therefore be made illegal. The enforcement of this must be by multilateral forces under the control of the United Nations. No single nation should be allowed to police the world, least of all to decide what action to take, [and] when."

It sure looks like Georgie Boy doesn't want us to concentrate on the Masterminds of Terror who were responsible for 9/11 so he wants us to look pass this and see what was going on in a different area of the world. I wonder what Georgie Boy if he were thrown into a cell with those 9/11 guys, would do if they got angry with him for trying to place 9/11 on others when they are so proud of what they did. So tell us, Georgie Boy, are Bush and Cheney responsible for the millions the Muslims have killed in the name of their religion? It's a wonder that for someone who hates America as Georgie Boy does that he has not moved to another country of his liking and informed the Social Security people to send his check to his new location.

I guess all the viewers by now see how Georgie Boy is obsessed with money and those who have it. If Georgie Boy had money, he wouldn't be whining on forums but would be out spending some of his money on having a good time. Living in a big city such as Los Angeles has plenty for people to do; they even have things to do which cost nothing or very little if Georgie Boy would leave his apartment and partake of some of these things instead of obsessing over money and those who have it. Thanks for admitting that you were a weenie who faked a bad back to get out after only ten days, Georgie Boy. You are the one posting on this forum, not Dick Cheney. If you get Dick Cheney to post here and whine all the time about this country, then I will take it up with him

Then why has the FBI never charged bin Laden with the terror attacks of 911?
As I recall, their last official explanation used the words "insufficient evidence."
He was #1 on the most wanted list and was summarily executed for his crimes. Just because he was not charged makes it a cocktail hour talking point.
  • Where did al-Qa'ida get its start up money from?
  • The same place the "Free Syrian Army" does.
  • Bin Laden was murdered for what he knew.

(ANSWERS)

  • why has the FBI never charged bin Laden with the terror attacks of 911?

ObL was never charged because he was never arrested. However their was a federal indictment outstanding from the grand jury.

  • Where did al-Qa'ida get its start up money from?

While Osama bin Laden (ObL) was the son of a billionaire, the original funding did not come from his personal fortune. The original funding came slowly from hand-to-mouth donations from Arab fund raising parties and syphoning of relief group donations.

(COMMENT)
  • The same place the "Free Syrian Army" does.
  • Bin Laden was murdered for what he knew.

For those that are opposed to the US and its government, there will always be conspiracy theories. So I take it that you understand the financing behind the "Free Syrian Army."

What did ObL know? Tell us. (Inquiring minds want to know!)

Looks like lately you can't sleep, Georgie Boy, because it is more important to get up early and start posting your nonsense. There are plenty of extremist Muslims who would shell out to fund terror groups like Al Qaeda. It looks like Georgie Boy is mourning Bin Laden and probably all the other terrorists who have been killed.

I noticed you used the word 'murder' to describe Bin Laden's death. Are you saying his death was not justified ??
Why should they have kept him alive ? So he can plan more attacks to kill American civilians ??
