Israel's War Against Hamas - Updates

Trying to equate 1948 and the war against Hamas 2023, obviously there are similarities with loss of lives, displacement and destruction of property. From the story the propagators are telling they always seem to miss that in both cases it was the Arab leaders of 1948 that refused the partition plan, and the Hamas leaders of 2023 that thought it would be a good idea to invade Israel, launch a war on us and expect us to turn another cheek.

In both instances, the expectations that Palestinian leadership would effectively defeat, manage or negotiate a favorable outcome were not met, leading to widespread disillusionment among Palestinians.

During both the 1948 and the 2023 Gaza war, there was a reliance on intervention by Arab states or Iran and its proxies that have ultimately proved ineffective to defeat (annihilate? “Flood of Alaqsa”) Israel and the prevent catastrophic outcomes.

Palestinian leadership in both periods underestimated the scale and intensity of the Israeli resolve and the military response, leading to severe consequences of war.

Palestinians are suffering due to the poor decisions their leaders have made. The ONLY way forward is through negotiations and mutual recognition.

The way back to home for Palestinians to Gaza City will comes not from outside the region, but from demanding accountability from Hamas, the release of 133 hostages and unconditional surrender of Hamas as a governing authority and terrorist entity.
