There is truth that some victims of DV return to their abuser. However your comment about LEO's has change by the DOJ Grant funded by VAWA. The Grants to require an arrest, one of which I wrote and managed included funding for paralegals to counsel victims on the day/evening of the offense and prepare for them a stay away order, photo of injuries sustained on the day/evening and again a week later.

The grant also funded 3 Deputy Probation Officers, two Sheriff Deputies, two DA's and the battered women's shelter for counseling, and when needed shelter. Those abusers in CA rarely were released on bail, and when convicted were place on three years supervised probation, with conditions to not own or possess a firearm and an order to search their person, auto and residence without a warrant.

The cages were there in 2014, but so were immigration lawyers and Administrative Law Judges to hear the matter within 48 judicial hours.

Oh so those same lawyers and Administrative Law Judges weren't there when Trump became President?? Both Barry and Trump followed the law.

Most of the kids that came across at that time were unaccompanied and were separated from adults for their own safety. As you pointed out, some kids were separated from their parents because their parents were incarcerated for more serious crimes and the kids were not incarcerated with them. All that is sensible. That is not Impeached Trump's policy. His policy was to separate kids from their parents as a deterrent from crossing the border. That's sick and disturbing.

The cages that the kids were kept in were all built by Obama, and the only reason more kids were not separated from their parents and kept in the cages was that illegals were given a date to appear in immigration court to argue their case and then released and disappeared. While Obama built cages for the children of immigrants, President Trump built facilities that kept detained families together. Had Obama built facilities to keep detained families together instead of building cages to hold children, the children of illegals being detained would never have been separated from their families.

Most of the kids that came across at that time were unaccompanied and were separated from adults for their own safety. As you pointed out, some kids were separated from their parents because their parents were incarcerated for more serious crimes and the kids were not incarcerated with them. All that is sensible. That is not Impeached Trump's policy. His policy was to separate kids from their parents as a deterrent from crossing the border. That's sick and disturbing.

The cages that the kids were kept in were all built by Obama, and the only reason more kids were not separated from their parents and kept in the cages was that illegals were given a date to appear in immigration court to argue their case and then released and disappeared. While Obama built cages for the children of immigrants, President Trump built facilities that kept detained families together. Had Obama built facilities to keep detained families together instead of building cages to hold children, the children of illegals being detained would never have been separated from their families.
