I agree. I'm not a Jew, but I'm not sure why they consider themselves to be "inviters." I think the mayor was pretty much right that it's really up to the families of the victims as to what kind of "service" they have.

I don't like Trump. But he's not an anti-Semite, and he's never called on people to go out and just kill people of one societal group. And he was not elected on a platform of national love and reconcillation, so people should, imo, stop bashing him for not doing that.

Trump couldn't bring himself to denounce Richard Spencer and the White Nationalists in Charlottesville, nor has he called on the Proud Boys to cease provocations on the WC. He calls himself a nationalist, and by that I think he means he sees American society dependent on set of values imported from Western Europe.

I'm not sure that he ever accepted that other racial groups could embrace the same ideals of commerce, democracy and tolerance.
