Jihadist groups hail Trump’s travel ban as a "victory"

The real question is - why doesn't he just leave? Too lazy, I guess. He loves to mooch off of conservatives.

How "true"......and I'm a bit pissed off that your last check bounced......(what an :ahole-1: )

Jihadist groups on Sunday celebrated the Trump administration’s ban on travel from seven Muslim-majority countries, saying the new policy validates their claim that the United States is at war with Islam.

Comments posted to pro-Islamic State social media accounts predicted that Trump’s E.O. would persuade American Muslims to side with the extremists. One posting hailed the U.S. president as “the best caller to Islam,” while others predicted that Trump would soon launch a new war in the Middle East.

“[Islamic State leader Abu Bakr] al-Baghdadi has the right to come out and inform Trump that banning Muslims from entering America is a ‘blessed ban,’” said one posting to a pro-Islamic State channel on Telegram, a social-media platform. The writer compared the executive order to the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003, which Islamic militant leaders at the time hailed as a “blessed invasion” that ignited anti-Western fervor across the Islamic world.

Several postings suggested that Trump was fulfilling the predictions of Anwar al-Awlaki, the American born al-Qaeda leader and preacher who famously said that the “West would eventually turn against its Muslim citizens.”

Even the folks it is aimed at call it a "blessed" event! So who is left now that opposes this "ban"?

Exactly how many refugees have committed the murderous terrorist acts in the US?
Since almost all Islamic terrorist attacks in the US have been committed by long term residents or US citizens, how is extreme vetting going to reveal that a person is likely to commit a terrorist act 5 or 10 years in the future? This does not make any sense.

Well there are more than enough dead bodies in europe to show we dont want that shit here.

And you MFs are aiding the enemy by echoing their propaganda. How's it feel to betray your country?
Banning Muslims from entering the US is exactly what ISIS wants and that is not propaganda. That is fact. The primary goal of ISIS is and has been separation of the faithful from infidels, driving the infidels out of Muslim lands and a return of the faithful to the caliphate.

Anyone who is against ISIS attaining their goal. The last thing in the world ISIS wants is millions more Muslims in America. On that point ISIS and Trump seem to agree.

Damn, you're usually not this stupid. There was no BAN, there was a moratorium from 14% of predominately muslim countries. Stop using the regressive lying narrative.

I didn't mention a ban but since you brought it up, it is Trump that called for a “total and complete shutdown of the entry of Muslims to the United States.” It was his press secretary, Spicer that said it was a “ban” on Monday night. It is trump who said that priority for refugee admission would be given to Christians. Now both Trump and Spicer say it's not a ban. One would have to be fool see it as anything else.

What did you fail to understand about it only applying to 14% of muslim countries, not much of a ban in my book.

Was this before or after they threw a bunch of gays off a rooftop?

Who cares hat these crazies think.

If no one cares, why is a Muslim ban necessary?
It isn't, if it were necessary there would be one.

Funny, Christians are exemp and Muslims are not. How is that not a Muslim ban?
Christians or any other people of faith are only exempt if they are considered to be singled out for persecution...no other people of any faith from those countries are exempt unless they fall into that category.

No group is persecuted more by ISIS and Assad in Syria than Muslims.
