But because we have this arcane system that gives too much power to small states, and because those electors knew damned well that Trump was unfit and voted him in anyway, we are in a major crisis with a guy who is clearly not up to the job.

You see, for all it's flaws, the Constitution is designed to keep this exact sort of thing from happening. The electors could have chose to not select Trump. Congress could have rejected him by not certifying the election. They could have invoked the 25th Amendment when he proved himself mentally unfit or they could have impeached him the many times he was caught breaking the law.

They didn't. Now the rubber is hitting the road, the economy is crashing, we are all locked in our houses, and you guys are still pretending this nightmare isn't real.
