Just a question about Catholics

Women have no place in the church other than sitting quietly.

Gism, is that you again in another disturbing disguise?

I don't think so. Gizmyz sounded like an obsessive radical baptist on meth. This "I'm goin to heaven" dude just sounds like a lonely teenager using his religion to mindlessly hurl insults.

I never thought I'd say this but I actually kinda miss Gizmyz. That fool was a TRIP!

Do any transcendental meditation???
No, I am not familiar with it.
Amen.
The end has come
O
- The police chief in an upscale community outside Atlanta said he was sleeping when he moved a gun in the bed and accidentally shot his wife in the back, according to a 911 tape released Friday.
"Who shot her?" the 911 operator asked William McCollom, the police chief in Peachtree City, Georgia.
"Me," McCollom replied.
As it has become a tradition to laugh at cops. Here is another funny story
William McCollom, 57, has not been charged with a crime, but he has been put on administrative leave while the shooting is investigated by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
EVEN SLEEPING COPS CAN KILL YOU

I don't guess he was speaking of a wet dream,,was he???
Of course He was... Actually that's why he called 911. They are specialists of cops' sexual life.
911 will give immediate consultation to every cop in trouble...
Thanks God He didn't shoot his adopted black son.
What would happen then??

wrong forum, mods pls move?

Plenty of people on this forum who ought to confess their sins.....admit their transgressions against the Ninth Commandment and pray for forgiveness.

For all that answered my question to the best of their ability without being fucktards....thank you.

Don't start a troll thread and then complain about the responses.

I'm Going, that isn't the case. Many women, Christ's mother included, had ministries and taught. What Paul was referring to was a specific church, whose women were going to a soothsayer and repeating what they were told in church. He told the men to tell them to keep quiet, and if the women had any questions to get their answers at home, from their husbands. It was not meant to silence all women for all eternity.
As if....... lol.

How do you resolve this statement with the other statement that what Catholics believe is all over the map?

Make up your mind please.....

As I explained then, "Outside of major doctrine and dogma..." The Eucharist falls into the category of major.

Perhaps, but you might be surprised to know that many devout Catholics maintain their own private understanding of the bread and wine ceremony as symbolic and never bothered to find out that official and extremely major church dogma teaches that the bread becomes the body of Christ in actuality, which means literally, in reality.

Many have become so befuddled and traumatized by church doctrine and dogma while the devil was being beaten out of them as children that they don't even have the sense to look it up in their old and dusty catechism book that they were given as children and see for themselves that as adults they are mixed up with and supporting something that they do not believe in and have said to me was ridiculous much less escape from their captivity, even with their captors bound hand and foot and the prison door flung wide open..

Astonishing!

From the beginning of time, mankind has been befuddled and traumatized over the least things--and there are many things any human doesn't understand properly. One of the first things we humans learned is that we can use something good for evil; we can portray what is good as evil. Choosing to take what is good and using it for evil is what many call the fall of man--or Original Sin.

Man is still falling. Sure, anyone can take what is right and good about the Catholic faith and portray it--or use it--as evil. But that does not prevent others from seeing what is right and good about it, and keeping it--and applying it--for the good of oneself and others.

Those of us who seriously delve into the Catechism find it links us straight to scripture--and the practices of those who knew Christ.

No, but the Pope is obeyed as if he was the ultimate earthly representative of and authority on God..

1. A brief review of Catholic Saints, or even Popes, gives people a nice sketch on how differently we Catholics believe and think on any number of matters. Yes, we do agree on major doctrines and dogmas, but other than that we are all over the map.

2. Parishes are run by Pastors and priests. Parishes are headed by a diocese which are headed by bishops. Pope Francis is the Bishop of Rome, not the Bishop of the diocese in which I reside. The Bishops serve the pastors and priests, and the Pope is known as the servant of the servants of God. It has been over sixty years since a Pope has spoken ex-cathedra, meaning that the entire Church will obey a new proclamation. The Pope is an example of Christ and his teachings, more than he is someone people leap to obey. He has more responsibilities than the average Bishop.

Ugh. So what if its been over sixty years since a Pope has spoken ex-cathedra. All that shows is that all of the following Popes just toed the line of every former Pope however evil and corrupt.

If the current ball less wonder was an example of Christ and his teachings he would not have set aside the commands of God to worship a lifeless matzo made by human hands as if it was a god that could give life to those who eat it... on international TV no less.

He most certainly would not be misleading others to do the same, which amounts to murder.

As the Pope he will be held accountable for his words and deeds and for all the innocent blood shed throughout history by the church that has led people to their destruction from its inception by the unholy union between Christianity and the Roman empire from which the papacy received its power and authority to commit every atrocity that is a matter of historical record for the past 1,689 years.

This is the teaching and example that Jesus left for believers to follow:

"He who sets aside even the least of the Laws demands, and teaches others to do the same, shall have the lowest place in the kingdom of God."

To understand what Jesus meant by saying they will have "the lowest place", see Genesis 3:14.

This is the teaching and example that Jesus left for believers to follow: "He who sets aside even the least of the Laws demands, and teaches others to do the same, shall have the lowest place in the kingdom of God."

He couldn't possibly be talking about you though, of course. No.

--- The one who dances around John 6 and boldly calls the body of Christ a matza ball. No.

--- The one who says when Jesus said "whose sins you hold bound they are held bound" Jesus wasn't speaking about confession, nor did he mean it for His disciples but for anybody who wanted to claim that authority for himself. No.

--- The one who thinks Peter was not made the head of the church, nor did Jesus formally establish One Church, a ruling body that was given "the keys of the kingdom." No.

--- The one thinks God in heaven would allow the devil to malign the Mother of His Son by making her nothing more than a target of ridicule and accuse any who honor her of being heretics or worse. No.

--- The one who doesn't dare speculate what happens to all who are not Christians (are they all in hell?) but assures everyone else how pure white he is going straight to heaven even if he committed all kinds of sins and hanky panky after he made that altar call. No.

--- the one who stands 10 feet tall telling us why he is so pure because of John 3:16 but then cannot explain why at the last judgement (Matthew 25:31-46) when Jesus separates the sheep from the goats, faith is not even mentioned as a reason --- only charity!

To sum: you and your arrogant protestant bunch who mock the Catholic faith play more games with Scripture (by running away from the tough verses) and more dangerous games with your souls than any sinning, repenting Catholic Church ever has.

LOL...

Was it something that I said that struck a nerve?

I would be more than happy to attempt to reason with you, again, about those so called tough verses but you seem to have forgotten that you have already been thoroughly refuted on the subject, however, your superstitious and irrational dedication to falsehood is very impressive.

I was wondering when meriweather's superior in the hierarchy of hell was going to show up. I just didn't expect it to be you again, without the facade of a pious man of distinguished pretensions.

Why not let's get right to the clash then? and all of your buddies are invited to put your collective heads together, a legion against one. Fair enough?

BTW, I am not Protestant..

Oh yeah, about those sheep and goats....

You, a he-goat "without blemish", have been carefully selected and prepared as a sin offering.
Your slaughter has been dedicated to the Lord.

Which tough verse would you like to begin with mr. smarty pants?

Well let’s just say I do not have the impetus to spend the necessary time to refute you. That is, to point out facts and historical events that you will ignore or will look for some angle to bring down some incidental point raised, all the while ignoring the larger and more glaring realities. It is an age old fool’s game.

I have forgotten who you are or what you believe. So as far as I know you will reject or deny all verses in the Bible. So how can I expect sanity from you in discussing any specifics?

Psalm 14 does say bluntly “the fool sayeth in his heart there is no God.” Is that you? Are you one of those who believes DNA sprung up from a dead rock? Are you one of those who is certain your great, great grandfather was a beetle, and all by random chance no less? Are you one of those who thinks when 3 children said that Mary said there will be a great miracle for everyone to see on Oct 13, 90 days hence, and that it happens on that very day before 70,000 –- are you one of those who says “whatever, it’s a just a crazy sun flair or mass hallucination,” and then walk away sure of your asinine self that you have just dethroned God once again? That quickly reminds me of Barbra Streisand singing in “The way we were” --- “…that which is too painful to remember, we simply choose to forget.”

Yes, like Ecclesiastes says --- “there is nothing new under the sun.” IOW, don’t try to impress us with your “cleverness” in your tiny little brain that you have figured it all out. God says what has been hidden from the learned and clever I have revealed to the merest children. IOW, humble yourself and think better.

I will provide you with one caveat that may assist you in understanding some major differences amongst Christian denominations, yet does not to bring down the most important of dogmas, i.e. that Jesus Christ is God and the Savior of mankind. But that distinction amongst us is still of highly critical nature, and that is this. The Catholic Church has taught since the beginning and more so since it was more clearly revealed in its proper time by God, that purgatory is very, very real! So when so many Protestants read certain passages and believe they are “saved,” well that very well may be the case. But for Catholicism we understand it to mean “saved from going to hell.” Heaven awaits, but not without first being purified from our many, many, many sins. It is God’s justice and mercy working in perfect harmony. No one is treated unfairly, not believer or unbeliever or even the totally ignorant.

Now give me one good reason to spend time getting nuanced with you on Jesus Christ and His teachings? Your pride, once again, has blinded you. Which reminds me of the word of the Virgin Mary to the Ecuadorian visionary Pachi. She said “Pride is the cancer of the soul... Most will only come to know and love God on bended knees.”

Do you not pray to Mary since your false god won't let you talk to him directly?
Yes, I pray to Mary. Praise God!!

Are you afraid to listen to any other Christian's words or teachings other than your JH handlers? I am sure it is forbidden. (sounds eerily "Islamic" to me. they are so afraid of the truth they forbid any outside discourse)
Catholicism isn't Christianity...it is Catholicism.

You are exactly right. Perfectly on target with this answer.

Jesus Christ appeared to Mary Magdalene first so she was officially the first evangelist! Philips daughters prophesied and prophesy is for the edification of the church. How can one flow in the gifts of the Spirit of God in Church if they cannot give the tongue or the interpretation of tongues in a meeting?

A Rosary is to keep track of which prayer you are on.

Mary came back to teach mankind how to pray the Rosary.

To remove any doubt about who is prayed to, there is a large Crucifix on every one.

I am a former Catholic, but even so, twisting of Catholic practices still bothers me.

Mary taught how to pray to Jesus.

And that is that.

Regards from Rosie

Mary didn't teach Jesus how to pray. According to the Word of God - Jesus taught his disciples how to pray. Jesus gave us the Lord's Prayer. Not Mary. Mary was a sinner saved by grace through her faith in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. In John Chapter 1 we see that Jesus Christ is God and that He was before the foundations of the earth. In the beginning was the Word. Jesus Christ is the Word. Jesus Christ was before Mary was. Jesus Christ is eternal - Mary was born at a certain place and time and was nothing more than a vessel through which Christ was born to the earth. Today we who have accepted Jesus Christ have the privilege of being vessels too. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Do not make too much out of Mary. She was just an ordinary woman like you, me and Gracie. She was blessed to be chosen to carry the LORD in her womb but what did Jesus say to those who said Blessed is your womb?

Read the bible beginning with Luke 11: 27, 28 and you'll find this, Rose..........

While Jesus was saying these things, one of the women in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, "Blessed is the womb that bore You and the breasts at which You nursed."But He said, "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it."
-Luke 11:27,28

Jesus always pointed to the Father. Not Mary.

Don't believe Catholicism and the words of a man called the Pope, Rose. Believe the Bible which is the Word of God. Jesus is the only one who can save you. Catholicism cannot save you. It's a false religion that teaches idolatry.

Once again, Jesus always pointed to the Father. Not Mary.
Thanks for reading.

The end has come

That's impossible. The third temple has not been built. There has not yet been a WWIII which Revelations reveals will cause the deaths of approx. 2 billion people - there has not been a revealing of the anti-Christ yet - although this pope could very well be the one who will reveal him - (the beast) there has not been a battle of Armageddon - the rebuilding of the 3rd temple cannot even happen until WWIII takes place! There has not yet been a 7 year Tribulation period. The end has not come. Read a bible.

Jesus returned in the late 1800s so yes the end is near. That's why the jihadist nation of islam is fighting for the antichrist.
Only us Witnesses and Tribulation Saints can stop the vile one
