Two days in the hospital for a ruptured appendix will run you about $50k. You'll be able to pay that out of pocket? If so, you're right, you don't need insurance, but if you can slap down that much for an unexpected hospital Bill, a couple grand a month for insurance is chump change.

You obviously bought into the myth that the federal government is everything to everybody. Like I said I've been fortunate I can pay for those things out of pocket because I am out of debt and self-employed, have been for 20+ years.
But I don't live life worried about what "might happen" its no way to live and it's not my style. But the fucking federal government wants to control everybody and rope everybody into socialism.
