Mile Rate..........Western Australia and Australia's Greatest Pacer Mount Eden,who had very poor starting manners,in the 1971 Miricle Mile....the field left him 75 yards behind,he caught the field up with such dash and won by 40 yards.......I can't drag the Youtube vidieo...but just log on to "Mount Eden,Miricle Mile 1971"

He was Sold to an American Doughnut Millionaire for US$267,000 massive money in 1972,but got injured on route,and never raced in America,so went to Stud...depriveing Americans of seeing this Brilliant Horse Run,considering even without a mobile start as we have today "Mountie"still broke the world record.

He eventually came back to Australia,at Stud for many years...He is buried in the Garden of Champions...rightfully...I love my horses..steve
