I think it is related to the speed of the connection that is being used.

Agreed that's a legitimate factor, but when all other webpages load at one speed and USMB loads considerably slower, I have to consider other variables.

One is Adblocker. Now, as a frequent traveler, I often access USMB from public computers and notice the time involved in loading up all the ads.

I have ad blocker on all my browsers, and they all work great. I never see ads. (knock on wood)
