Not long after the accord was reached, Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani said the deal recognizes Tehran’s “right” to maintain an enrichment program.

Rouhani said, “Let anyone make his own reading, but this right is clearly stated in the text of the agreement that Iran can continue its enrichment, and I announce to our people that our enrichment activities will continue as before.”

Who be fooling WHO???

No no, it's a "historic agreement" hammered out by the smartest president in history. Aren't you reading the gazillion threads started by JED and his band of merry bootlickers?

I agree it is historic. Never has the US negotiated an agreement that did so much harm to so many for so little.

They have a right to enrich.

Do wingnuts know what negotiating means? It requires give and take, not "Iran does everything they are told to do by us and we in return we give them no bombing."

The right's demands are unrealistic, pure fantasy.

The right was wrong about the Iraq War, so their opinion is of no value now. Keep it to yourselves.

Ys, comrade. Only you are entitled to an opinion.
Meanwhile back in the real world, Iran is still developing nuclear weapons with the aim of establishing hegemony in the region, threatening both Israel and Saudi Arabia. The Saudis have plans to get nukes of their own, having given up on any protection from the U.S.
The Israelis havent given up on the US mainly because they dont have too many others to go to.
The Obama Administration is desperate for a diversion from their last disaster so is pushing this disaster to claim some kind of victory.
BTW, how many Democrats supported the Iraq War? Yeah almost all of them, including Kerry who was for it before he was against it.

But, since no one is looking out for Israel's interests, Israel may stop the enrichment activities themselves. Would you blame them?

Speaking of Democrat support for Iraq and disposal of Saddam!!!
PLUS were THESE PEOPLE "BUSH DUMB" also???
32 democrat quotes indicate even before GWB that Saddam was a threat!

"..deny Iraq the capacity to develop WMD".Bill Clinton,1998
"..most brutal dictators of Century", Biden,1998
"Iraq compliance with Resolution 687 becomes shell game"..Daschle 1998
"He will use those WMDs again,as he has ten times since 1983" ..Berger Clinton Ntl. Secur. Advr 1998
"posed by Iraq's refusal to end its WMD programs" Levin 1998
"Saddam has been engaged in development of WMDs which is a threat.."Pelosi 1998 WHERE'D SHE GET THIS INFORMATION BEFORE BUSH?
"Hussein has chosen to spend his money on building WMDS.."Albright 1999
"Saddam to refine delivery systems, that will threaten the US..."Graham 2001
"Saddam has ignored the mandate of the UN and is building WMDs and the means to deliver.." Levin 2002
"Iraq's search for WMDs ...will continue as long as Saddam's in power"..Gore 2002
"Saddam retains stockpiles of WMDS.."Byrd 2002
"..give President authority to use force..to disarm Saddam because an arsenal of WMDs..threat our security"..Kerry 2002
"..Unmistakable evidence Saddam developing nuclear weapons next 5 years.."Rockefeller 2002
"Violated over 11 years every UN resolution demanding disarming WMDs.."Waxman 2002
"He's given aid,comfort & sanctuary to al Qaeda members..and keep developing WMDs"..Hillary 2002
"Compelling evidence Saddam has WMDs production storage capacity.." Graham 2002
"Without a question, we need to disarm Saddam. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime .... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction .... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real ...."Kerry , Jan. 23. 2003.

The Left has collective memory loss on the issue. All they know is "Bush lied, people died."

seeing this was such a lousy agreement there is no question it was a diversion from obamacare.

The Democrats who supported it changed their minds, and therefore get a pass on having made the mistake of voting for the Iraq War debacle. The Iraq War clusterf___ , that brought no democracy to Iraq, found no WMD, and replaced Saddam with a pro-Iranian government, is fully the GOP's fault.

And had the Iraq War not been fought, the American people might be more supportive of the GOP's mouth-breathing, oafish demands for a war on Iran.

But the American people learned from the GOP's Iraq War mistake. I just with the GOP would learn from the GOP's Iraq War mistake.

Kerry/Obama:" Can Iran continue enrichment activities as before??? Yes. And they are getting billions of dollars and still have centrifuges. Good job, Obama and Kerry.

I'm okay with that. Iran with nuclear weapons is not a threat to the US. The consequences of waging war on Iran would be worse than containing a nuclear Iran. And most Americans agree. Deal with it.

CNN has kerry as saying NO further enrichment Rouhani is saying they have won their right to enrich...*shrugs*

I am betting on Rouhani....

"So the Iraq war was, despite all that went wrong, a good thing; the "overwhelming majority" of Iraqis are (and presumably feel) better off because of it"
The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg put the question to Barham Salih, the former prime minister of Iraqi Kurdistan's regional government and a former deputy prime minister of Iraq's federal government.
"But," he added, "it's important to understand where we started from. ... Literally hundreds of thousands of Iraqis were sent to mass graves. Ten years on from the demise of Saddam Hussein, we're still discovering mass graves across Iraq. And Iraqis are better off without Saddam Hussein -- the overwhelming majority of Iraqis are better off without Saddam Hussein."
So the Iraq war was, despite all that went wrong, a good thing; the "overwhelming majority" of Iraqis are (and presumably feel) better off because of it; and the fault for all that has gone wrong is ultimately with Iraqis themselves: It's a remarkable point of view to encounter in June 2013.
10 Years After the Fall of Saddam, How Do Iraqis Look Back on the War? - J.J. Gould - The Atlantic

And of course YOU SADDAM lovers would have LOVED to have the continued starvation of millions of children IF Saddam were still in charge while adding more to the 91 palaces he
built with Oil for food program..

You support these activities by Saddam and his sons!
"Uday and Qusay Hussein used electric drills on people while cutting out their tongues?Or how about taking the 148 men and boys Saddam ordered killed because on July 8th, 1982 the people of Dujail (a small Shiite village north of Baghdad)tried to assassinate Saddam"

At least 300,000 Iraqis murdered by Saddam's regime remains having been found and excavated. Thousands of Kurdish Iraqi civilians, among them babies in their mothers' arms, were gassed to death in chemical weapons attacks on Saddam's orders in 1988. For decades, Saddam's secret police, the feared Mukhabarat, tortured and murdered anyone suspected of opposing Saddam. Rape rooms and torture chambers were staples of his reign of terror, aptly dubbed the republic of fear.

From 1991 to 1995 As many as 576,000 Iraqi children may have died since the end of the Persian Gulf war because of economic sanctions imposed by the Security Council, according to two scientists who surveyed the country for the Food and Agriculture Organization.
Iraq Sanctions Kill Children, U.N. Reports - NYTimes.com

That's an average of almost 150,000 children starving because of the Oil for food a year.
If Saddam were still in power today as YOU idiots that wanted SADDAM to still be in power that would be over 18 years more then 2,592,000 children!
AND YOU people that wanted Saddam to stay in power would be 100% responsible for that!
INSTEAD.. 1,440,000 children are ALIVE!! All because Saddam is DEAD!
