Laid Off

Socialism isn't the answer and the current system we have now is clearly tilted to the mega wealthy. Heck we now live in a society where I don't care how strong your work ethic is, , you aren't going to get ahead. Using exceptional and America in the same sentence doesn't work anymore. We have low wage workers criticizing low wage workers because they belong to a union, which might help them earn slightly more. True idiots that are not my fellow Americans.

If you want to fix the problem, buy only goods made 100% in America, if everyone did that, then there would be no more outsourcing. But, people have to have their dvd's and video games and all kinds of crap, manufactured overseas. This is on all Americans, not a political party.

Try finding something that is still made in this country... Good Luck.

Its capable of showing a real problem that is inherit with capitalism. I'm not living in the past, suck the life out of others? How? Please explain how letting workers own production does this. Yeah, albert einstein, martin luther king were failures, good to know. They thrive on failure? You define failure as not being a capitalist, LOL

Einstein Failed ... Martin Luther King failed ... We all fail and it only makes a difference when you accomplish something.

I didn't define failure as not being a Capitalist ... I defined failure as the inability to achieve a goal ... try to argue with that nit-wit.
Workers own their work in every situation ... It is what they do ... What they get paid for.
Your ideas suck the life out of others because they reward the inability to succeed and cannot flourish without the exploitation of the successful.

But I have already explained all that ... And it is obvious you still have nothing more than rhetoric.

.
Einstein and martin luther king failed? LOL, THEY FAILED THEIR GOALS? REALLY NOW? Yeah, you're obviously defining the goals of billions of people, most of them would tell you to fuck off. They don't own their work, they work, and the fruits of their labor go to the capitalist, while they receive payment in less then what they are worth, I suck the life out of others? Exploitation of the successful? You fail to understand anything.

Good grief, everyone fails. Everyone misses a goal, everyone fails, that doesn't make you a failure it makes you human. I'm not sure how much simpler Blacksand can be.

Have you ever set a goal?

You've already admitted that only a minority of people can be capitalists, tell me more about your brilliant plan to make people capitalist, not like we need billions to do actual labor. Socialism doesn't rely on exploitation for existence.. don't know where you're getting this rhetoric.

The plan is simple ...

Find what it is you really want to do ... What you love to do.
Bang the doors ... Go through the hardships it takes to prepare ... Gather the resources available to you.
Take the risk ... Jump in both feet first and prepare to fail.

If you fail ... Get back up ... Learn from your mistakes ... Make better preparations and gather better resources.
Use the wisdom you have gained and provide for better conditions should you fail again.
Take the risk ... Jump back in ... Wash and repeat until it kills you, or you succeed.

.
Success rate: 1 out of a million
Good job ignoring the fact that only a minority can be capitalists, and that billions will never be given the proper opportunities or education/pathways, and the limited amount of "middle class jobs" and all of the other shit, the fact is, most of these people just want to meet their nutritional needs, have guaranteed access to health care, make a decent wage to buy snacks for their children every couple of days... Wash and repeat until it kills you? - This is worthy of a signature. Oh, you were talking about rhetoric.. :stupid:

Actually it is one out of ten, businesses fail, so be prepared to fail nine times before you succeed. It gives you something to work for, it gives you a purpose.

And owning a business isn't the goal of everyone, my son loves doing HVAC work. My other son loves computer networking. They love what they do they both worked to get where they are at.

Measured in what countries? Yeah, people can obviously afford to fail 9 times... I know it's not the goal of everyone, I've been asserting this.

You said one out of a million, it is 1 out of 10 big difference.

And people do prepare to fail, they are called back up plans.

Ok, billions of people, by your definition, are failures and incompetent. What you idiots fail to realize is that capitalism cannot function without those people doing the real work, the real labor, the capitalists can't afford competition, it undercuts profit. Sorry, you don't understand what pollution is. Failing systems? Ok sweetie, how are you defining "failure," if we want to count cuba/ussr/china as actual socialist countries.

I don't care what your count is ... You are not helping any of them ... Obviously!

I define failure the same way anyone does ... The inability to achieve an acceptable goal.
We all fail ... I have failed before ... The other successful I know have all failed before.

It is your desire to excuse and reward failure that drives your need to exploit the successful.

.
I'm not helping them? Gee, you know all about me .-. Yeah, it's obviously plausible that a billion people can all run businesses. Reward failure? Their are many people making less then a $1.25 a day, working in sweatshops 16 hours a day, factories to produce phones, let alone who mines what is needed for them.. Exploit the successful?
Oh my fucking god, the capitalists don't do the work, the actual workers do.

Look at the last sentence.^ It is correct. Capitalists don't do the work.
Capitalism creates the work. The workers accomplish the work. Now you understand why workers in this country aren't working. Because we have erroneously attacked those who create work. So now we don't have any....
No, capitalists cannot create work without laborers, might as well get rid of the system all together and have the workers collectively own the work they do, not the capitalist.

Capitalists create the opportunity for laborers to labor. When there is no assembly line for laborers to assemble cars, then laborers don't labor. Ask Detroit.
Without my capital, and hard work it took to create my business, my workers would have no work to work at.
I remember American scientists remarking about the tattered shirts that their Russian counterparts were wearing to a global conference. There was no money for the Russian socialists to share for their labor. They didn't have any money to buy shirts even though they worked as diligently as the American scientists.

Work has picked up in this valley. Not because we have gas and oil. Gas and oil was here while unemployment soared. It took someone one with capital to afford the equipment necessary for the workers they hired to extract the gas and oil. In turn the workers pay the local barber, who pays the grocer...
Without steel mills, millworkers had no work to perform. They had no paychecks to pay for a haircut. So the barber closed his shop.

I already have, all my clothes are made in the USA, as is my furniture, from the furniture company England. I have TV's made in America and this computer Im on as well.
There are some things I still own that were not made in America, but, I bought those many years ago, before I made up my mind to only buy merchandise made in America, it costs a little more, but actually tends to last longer. You get what you pay for.

Friends husband was just laid off from job he has had for 11 years.IT/Computer etc. Outsourcing entire department to Philippines! Oh the wonderful joys of Capitalism. Bosses get richer, long term SKILLED employees get the shaft and slaves do work for pennies in Philippines....or should I say indentured servants. He is filing for unemployment but that's not the point...its wrong and should be stopped.
How exactly does a slave do his job if he was "skilled"?

Does not compute
You must have been homeschooled under a rock. Slaves were often skilled.

Doesn't do anything to counter the point, since Russia was socialist by Claim, not by there actions. The whole idea of a capitalist needing to do these things exists under capitalism, - .-

1 out of a million as a sarcastic number, I actually thought it was more like 3/10 or such, and are you taking into account all countries, including the third world. Yeah, people obviously are prepared to try and waste money multiple times to start a business when living in poverty..

The USA has the highest corporate tax rate in the entire world. Was your friend a union member? Why is there no US tax penalty for sending jobs overseas?

How do you propose to stop outsourcing when its the only way some companies can survive?

U.S. Corps make more money.

And U.S. Corps have more loopholes, tax rebates, and tax avoidance mechanisms.

U.S. Corps could continue to operate in the U.S., employ people here, provide health care, and still make a profit. They COULD if they wanted to.

They just wouldn't be able to pay out they type of dividends to stock holders they do. Or pay their CEO's as much.

That is the reality.
Why did the textile industry leave S. carolina, georgia, tenn, and alabama? any idea?
You've accidentally discredited your own point. Those southern states often brag and boast about their low to non existent taxes. Textile industries still left. Minimum wage in this country is a king's ransom in some third world shit-hole with the added caveat that third world countries also have near zero taxes to boot. But it doesn't matter all the same. Some corporations in this country pay zero taxes as it is because of loop-holes. Tax rates be damned.

thanks....some rationality......if you want work I've heard the states that are frakking can't get enough workers.......

You are trying to apply your definition of failure, and many people pick themselves up all the time. It's not that easy to work somewhere else when all capitalists rely on exploitation, it's not easy when you're in china, india, Uzbekistan, the third world in general, poor urban areas in first world countries, doing it themselves? Ah, sounds like you just want everyone to be capitalists, keep going.

Only Socialists are required to rely on exploitation as a matter of existence ... They cannot exist without the support of others.
You are correct ... I do wish everyone was a successful Capitalist ... And I will do what I can to make them that way.

I can do that ... And don't need your help nor a government to do so.

.

Yeah....it does.....and the low level of existence that is inherent in the system......that people could actually believe in this crap is scary..........

Working for fracking companies is both dirty and something I would not lower myself to do. Sorry, not a job that gives one pride. Skip that and find better work than that.

The only examples of socialism In practice we have include the Paris commune, Ukrainian areas before the USSR took them.. The USSR was socialist by claim, much like China.. You're an idiot, and again, fail to understand context.
