The liberals here on USMB will close their eyes, make wild accusations, and pretend this isn't an issue.

But here we see left-wing governments proposing taking control of the food supply. England has already disarmed their population (so they couldn't prevent stuff like this). This is just the next step in getting the people completely under their control.

Firstly, England has a CONSERVATIVE government.

Secondly, the aim of the legislation is to reduce 70 laws down to five. Which means less government - not more.

Thirdly, the EU is not "left wing". The major groups within it are from the largest economies, most of which are currently right wing, such as England, Germany, etc.

Forthly, the legislation does not seek to control food supply, only to determine what kinds of seeds shops sell. Private people can do whatever they like.

All of which you knew, of course.
