Let's talk about the map

Atlanta has the bulk of the population

Not really -- 450k out of ten million in the state.
How many in the greater metropolitan area?

Five million or so in greater Atlanta. But suburbs everwhere tend to vote red, just as cities vote blue.
Suburbs are the new swing areas.

In the future maybe. But on the original point I don't see Georgia as a state as much different from Alabama or Mississippi, except that it's big city is bigger. It's got more in common with them than it does with Carolina.
The suburbs are already purple, at least in many northern metros.

This election will be like no previous election:

Trump will disenfrancise a huge number of Republicans throughout the country.

Hillary will be supported by the overwhelming majority of women and African Americans.

Bernie Sanders has created a huge left wing political machine, and once he throws his support behind Clinton, liberals will get out to vote in greater numbers than ever.

Hispanics hate Trump and will vote in record numbers.

And that's not to mention all the other demographic trends that look bad for the Republicans.

This is the demise of the Republican party.

Yipee!

The map will not be friendly to Trump

In addition to the states Obama won in 2012, I see Hillary taking North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona and Utah

Hillary is not winning Utah.. :eusa_wall:

Against any other Republican, I would agree with you

Doesn't matter. It's not happening. Deal with it.

Once unthought-of .......

Trump will find he has to defend once solid red states as Arizona, Georgia, Utah and dare I say it?

Texas
