Admittedly, the difference between people getting tear gassed for kneeling in a street and being able to invade and occupy federal buildings for weeks without violence seems to be whether or not the mob has guns. And we know a lot of people with BLM saw that and got the message loud and clear. Kneel in a street? Gassed and beaten. Block major highways into large cities? Taking smiling selfies on Facebook. "Enforcement" is an "all of government" response of which the Southern Border is only one small part of solving the problem of illegal immigration. "Enforcement" needs to include a strong and robust judicial attack against employers but Republican governments refuse to do ANYTHING other than attack refugees on the Southern Border.

Enforcement needs to include:

• Follow-up by the IRS on withholding payments to non-existent or deceased social security numbers;
• Employers must see the original social security card on hiring and verify the name and the number;
• Vigorous prosecution of high profile employers including Tyson Foods, Koch Industries, and the Trump Corporation, and not just right wing employers, so if you know of any liberal corporations caught hiring hundreds of illegals, you can include them too
• pass sane and reasonable immigration legislation - that takes into consideration that this is 2021, not 1821.
• Restore funding of programs in Central America to deal with gang violence, and governmental ability to keep their citizens safe.
• Deal with Climate Change;
• Stop locking people up and leaving them in custody with no due process. These people are guilty of a misdemeanor. You don't lock people up for jaywalking. In carceration at $700 per day is ridiculous and expensive. Either deport them or let them go, but don't lock up non-criminal and otherwise productive people at taxpayer's expense.

I realize you fools want bumper sticker solutions and cannot comprehend complex problems but the real world doesn't work that way. You've spent the last 40 years creating your own problems on the Souther Border, so don't think that unravelling the current mess will be cheap or easy.

Trump spent hundreds of billions of dollars on the Southern Border, and accomplished NOTHING. Illegals continue to overstay their visas and will continue to pour in through your airports, seaports, and across the Canadian border as long as you continue to provide illegal immigrants with jobs.
