Liberals Understand Human Nature.....Not.

Human nature has no definition, it is human nature. PC is right.

well,... isn't there is a natural human order or nature that led to a natural law that
led to our Constitution- right?

If you say human nature has no definition then it can be anything which is what HItler Stalin and Mao thought- right?

No, human nature is pretty clear and obvious. A big difference between conservatives and "liberals" is that liberals account for human nature by trying to pass masses of laws to "perfect" it, and conservatives know that it can't be done, and any laws passed will have to work with it as it is.

or you might say conservatives are scientific in that they believe in slow evolutionary change while liberals like Hitler Stalin and Mao and to a lesser extent FDR, LBJ, and Barry, are stupid and so believe in revolutionary change to instantly perfect mankind in their idiotic liberal vision.

Shut up and surrender your biggie soda to the state.
LOL, to the state of New York City (who actually lost that battle).

That they even made an issue of it is indicative of just how far down the wabbit hole some elected officials are.
Rome is burning and they are fiddling.

Who is they? Personally, I oppose such bans on purchases of any size.

Woo. "They" are the NY city officials who made a political issue of the size of drinking cups.

And they were rightfully shot down by the courts too.

Yes, we should all ignore the intentions of the left if the courts happen to manage to stop them. Brilliant.

The desire to control others is in our
nature, but in liberals it has run amok.

yes, the war on poverty and recent housing crash being two good recent examples among 1000's that came long ago and led our Fouonders to create a very very limited govt.

“I want the masses of Russia to follow a Communistic pattern of thinking and reacting,”Lenin explained. Pavlov was astounded. It seemed that Lenin wanted him to do for humans what he had already done for dogs.“Do you mean that you would like to standardise the population of Russia? Make them all behave in the same way?”he asked.“Exactly” replied Lenin.Man can be corrected. Man can be made what we want him to be.”… Orlando Figes, "A People's Tragedy," p.732-733

If everyone worshipped Jesus, married someone of the opposite sex, and voted Republican, you'd be fine with everyone behaving the same way.

I have no interest in your mistaken view.

But...I would be pleased to see a nation where the Constitution was actually treated as the law of the land....and, the 10 Commandments, isn't a bad idea.

You can reconcile the 1st Amendment of the Constitution with the 1st Commandment?

"Thou shalt have no other gods before me"

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.."

Let's hear it.

Hey...you're famous!

That's a comically garbled way of admitting you can't reconcile the two.

You want US law to contain a mandate that American citizens cannot worship any other God than the God of the Bible.

You won't get it.

Pubtroll moron, our founders were liberals .

if so then were liberals for very very tiny govt unlike modern liberals who are for ever growing govt without end which led them to spy for Hitler and Stalin.

Welcome my child to your first lesson in American History:

Thomas Jefferson:
The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to grain ground; that the greater the government the stronger the exploiter and the weaker the producer; that , therefore, the hope of liberty depends upon local self-governance and the vigilance of the producer class."

James Madison:
A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor (read-taxes) and bread it has earned -- 18)this is the sum of good government.

All systems tend toward chaos. - Second Law of Thermodynamics

Yes, I know that law isn't intended to apply to humans, but it's surprising and depressing how well it actually does.

...A good example is health care. That use to be a private decision but the government is determined to whip us into shape...
It used to be a private decision for those who could afford it in that scam of a Pub system. Now it's an affordable right like in every civilized country.
and now no more irresponsible freeloaders...

Really? My premiums and deductibles have gone up significantly thanks to 'Bamacare. Who do you think is subsidizing all the newbies?
There's no such thing as a free lunch. In order to give it to you the gov't must take it from someone else.
INEPTOCRACY - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or even try are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
You ALREADY were paying for the uninsured, just in the stupidest, most deadly way possible. Now you get tons of free tests and have an annual cap. If you live in a red state- now your insurance isn't a scam. And transparent competition will bring down the cost curve.

My coverage is the same and I got to keep my doctors. The out-of-pocket increases I experienced were to my premium and deductibles. So how did 'Bamacare benefit me and how is this new subsidized (by me) health care system better for me?
The cost curve is bending down, coverage is guaranteed, tests are free, annual cap of spending. VERY healthy for the economy. You ALREADY were paying for others, just in the stupidest, cruelest way. Now they get preventive care and pay what they can.

And if you say it enough, maybe it'll become true, like believing in fairies.

What don't you understand about the difference between people CHOOSING to behave the same, and being forced to behave the same? What is the major malfunction in your brain that makes you focus on "the same" without noticing the "forced"?

I think it depends on the conservative. I personally don't think that human nature at its most basic can or will ever change. The outer trappings and details may, but the inner core won't.

I also don't happen to think basic human nature NEEDS to change. How we deal with it should, but not the nature itself. It exists the way it is for a reason.

Analysis of 2015 Health Premiums Finds Average Nationwide is Flat.
A new analysis of the Affordable Care Act’s health insurance marketplace costs finds that, nationwide, marketplace premiums did not increase at all from 2014 to 2015, though there were substantial average premium increases in some states and declines in others. The average premiums for the second lowest-cost silver plan—or benchmark plan for calculating the federal subsidy in a given state—were also unchanged. And the average deductible for a marketplace plan increased by just 1 percent year to year.

Argument? What makes you think you've said anything intelligent enough to warrant argument? All you do is say, "Pub dupe, pub, dupe, pub dupe" like a broken record - and God, how I'm cut to the quick by your devastatingly witty insult, there - and spout a list of things that would have happened had this been your whack-off fantasy rather than reality.

There's really not any response required here other than to recognize your post as the bullshit that it is. And I've done that. Job accomplished.

Obamacommie care is more socialist spaghetti on top of an already super over priced convoluted socialist spaghetti health care system.

If we switched to a Republican capitalist system prices would be about 20% of what they are now and our life expectancies would increase 10--20 years.

Republican Capitalism: customers shopping with their own money, transparent prices for comparable goods and services, and providers competing on basis of price and quality.

That's the National Conference Of State Legislatures, brainwashed functional moron. The other is Kaiser Health, not total Pub BS you love.

dear, 2015 premiums were set in 2014 before Obamacare was effective. Do you understand they mean nothing. 2016 is the year that counts:

Many Obamacare customers could be looking at surprisingly large price increases next year—if insurers get their wishes.

Health insurance premiums for individual plans in major U.S. cities would rise by an average of 12 percent in 2016 if the newly proposed prices are approved, a new analysis finds.

And prices would increase even more—14 percent on average—for people enrolled in the most popular type of Obamacare plans, known as "silver" plans, the HealthPocket study reveals.

Customers insured in health maintenance organization (HMO) and exclusive provider organization (EPO) plans—which as a rule don't cover treatment from providers outside of their networks—would be facing average increases that are higher still—20 percent for HMO plans and 18 percent for EPO plans.
