What they're saying is that the means to practice sexual deviancy rises above the means of Christians to exercise their God-given inalienable rights.
Nobody is keeping Christians from exercising their beliefs. If you don't like homosexuality, don't practice it, but the Bible never says you have a right to shun, criticize, demonize and dehumanize someone because of their lifestyle. Jesus didn't call the woman at the well names, or shunned her or told her she was infringing on his beliefs.....and she was committing adultery, which according to the Bible, is a sin. So, what makes some of you think it is okay to call homosexuals names, and shun and discriminate against them? Where in the Bible does God/Jesus give you permission to do that?
