[If you're wondering, this is a view west from high over downtown towards Red Rock Canyon. The big building is The Red Rock Station Hotel and Casino. Most of this is in the old Howard Hughes Summerlin development.]

Younger locales in the South and West have lower segregation levels in residential communities.

My goodness. American are actually able to racially integrate entire neighborhoods. Can you believe that? Well, I got news for this al Jazeera reporter, I live in a neighborhood in town that's exactly the same and have lived in similar neighborhoods the entire 34 years I've lived in Las Vegas. Oh, by the way, the exact same neighborhoods I lived in during my 23 years in the US Army.
