100-Year Majority?
A Thousand Year Reich?
One mid-term victory doesn't not a 100 year majority make. It is a pretty delusional statement to make.
The 1000 year Reich immediately came to mind. It only lasted 12 years.Wow, pretty astounding.

"A hundred year majority..."
Why's that familar? Are you channeling old Nuremberg speeches maybe?

Yeah, a 100yrs is a bit much. Probably not gonna happen. Euphoric wishful thinking.
The point has been made that red states will stay red and blue states will stay blue except for maybe Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Colorado and Ohio.
So when figuring out the way Congress and the Presidency will go in 2016 ... You can figure those states will see a lot of politics coming down the pipe. At least until Democrats figure out that Florida alone will get them over the Electoral College vote necessary to win if they do hold the other blue states.

This GOP majority will disappear if it follows Rush's advice.

Your ignorance continues! Without Rush, this country would likely be totally Marxist like Obama and a majority of the dims!
Yes, because in America, the government owns the means of production and there is no private property and political opposition is not tolerated. Oh wait, I work for a private corporation, own property, and the Republicans just won the senate. You idiots don't know Karl Marx from Groucho Marx. This GOP majority will disappear if it follows Rush's advice.

There will be only a firm majority if the GOP continue reachin gout to women and minorities.
The elections of 2008, 10, 12, 14 all swung on whether the party in power was governing.
Guess what? John, Mitch, and Barak better work together.
Agree with you except for the working together part. This President and Harry Reid have been arrogant assholes. They've never shown any interest in working with Republicans. In fact, they only boasted about not working with them.
So i don't see these historic Republican wins as a mandate to work with this President. I see it as the exact opposite. The People put the Republicans in there to kick this President and his Party's ass. And hopefully, that's what they'll do.
I have to agree. Republicans still have a big problem in National Elections. Once you get to that level, it becomes more about personalities and media likeability. Issues don't matter as much. So the Democrats may get the White House again, but the Republicans can control everything else. That may be what we'll see for a long time.
It's the identical delusion at work.100-Year Majority?

That map is marvelously dishonest, which coming from paulitician should surprise no one.
For example, that map makes it appear that the GOP overwhelmingly controls my state of NY in the House of Representatives.
In fact, the Democrat majority over the GOP in New York is
21 Democrats 6 Republicans!
The rest of the map is similarly bullshit.

LOL ... You are more optimistic than I am.
All that needs to happen for Democrats to win the presidency, is move a few more Californians to Colorado and New Yorkers to Florida. In some cases, Liberals are fleeing from disastrous big government policies and income taxes in places like California and New York. The only problem is that they take their socialism with them ... And don't mind bringing the same crap they are running away from to the places they land.
