It's not a matter of opinion. I'm not going to argue with you on this anymore. If you think the weed back in the 70's was better than the weed is now, so be it. You ask 100 other people of your age the same question, and 100 will agree with me. So it is what it is.

I live in a place where it is legal. It's no big deal, just like alcohol (which I think is worse), if treated it like alcohol. I am against harder drugs, but the Libertarian in me says if you are an adult, in a private place that is good with it, on your own time; I don't care if you do crack. It's not my business.

As a libertarian and a traditional liberal, I kind of feel the same way. Who is the government to tell somebody that they can or cannot smoke weed. But marijuana is culturally different compared to alcohol or even prostitution. Generally speaking prostitution even in places where it’s legal doesn’t occur in the wide open people go behind closed doors for it.

That being said any civilized society does have law and order and a government otherwise we have anarchy. So the question we have to ask ourselves is, do we want marijuana to become a public thing. Is the site of people of various ages and different backgrounds puffing on a joint a good thing. Obviously minors drink alcohol and minors will and do smoke weed.

But for decades, if not centuries, alcoholic use has been associated with masculinity and strength. Plenty of strong men and world leaders. Renowned people from various fields were pictured having a drink. Not getting shitfaced wasted, but having a drink. On the other hand, what is marijuana associated with historically speaking it is associated with hippies. It’s not like you really see a really strong, masculine man or world leader from history smoking a joint. You see somebody like Bob Marley or Jim Morrison or Tom Petty all people that I respect btw smoking weed.

So visually speaking, I don’t think legal marijuana is a good thing. And the culture that comes with it is different from alcohol. Marijuana breeds feminism. It is associated with the porn industry. It is associated with men becoming feminized and feeling bad about things they just don’t make sense like this false idea that white people are privileged or America was uniquely evil or racist. Take a look at any BLM protest or a lot of the BLM supporters many of them are marijuana users. They have no problem, insulting their own ancestors for perceived, imperialism or racism or some nonsense. Every person of the world no matter their skin color or religion descends from slaves and slave owners.

Marijuana is definitely associated with left-wing BLM culture. Like the idea being you would see a lot of people smoking weed and then they get all laid-back and it’s easier for them to agree with a BLM leader, or a radical leftist. A lot of those pro weed folks also support abortion.

Absolutely they already have this through something called dabbing. It’s this oily type of marijuana substance that people smoke in things that look like pens. It’s not your traditional joint or pipe. It’s this vaporized marijuana where you are vaping through some kind of pen. These are very powerful, expensive and addictive products.

Of course this is just common sense when you mix capitalism and marijuana, you’re gonna get some evil people who will put in the most addictive substances in their products, and they will get people hooked on it.

I think smoke shops are a heinous site for the country. I can’t stand the site of smoke shops in this country. They are often accompanied by BLM signs, vandalism, and graffiti and other sources of anti-American Filth.

It is interesting though with regards to marijuana and masculinity. There have been these people who have provided for incorrect View That violence is not associated with marijuana like it is with alcohol. They will say “alcoholics beat their wives. Marijuana users are peaceful.”

And some alcoholics beat their wives. So I can admit that as somebody who drinks alcohol once a month.

It’s also true, that a portion of marijuana users are black gangbangers maybe some of the gangbangers are white, but certainly a huge portion of the black gangbangers in this country smoke blunts. They will smoke blunts and get high and then go kill somebody. They will smoke a big blunt in a car and do a drive-by shooting often resulting in the death of innocent bystanders, including kids. Now the interesting thing about this is a lot of these drug dealers are actually quite masculine. They are not afraid to physically assault somebody. But it’s the bad part of masculinity one could say with them. Point is totally undeniable though a sizable portion of marijuana users are gangbangers often from the inner cities and they’ll get super high and then go shoot a bunch of people.

Why do you think the pot was better back then? I can’t go back to the 80’s but the pot we got in the 90’s wasnt nearly as good as what we get today. There is more variety of better quality at a lower price. But interested in your take
