We already arrest them for bringing weapons to school. But they don't prey on schools exclusively. Sometimes they prey on concert goers scrambling in terror through a casino parking lot. Sometimes they prey on theater goers. Sometimes they prey on worshippers. Why should they be armed in the first place? Would it be alright to sell handguns to the blinds too? If one of the human faculties is deemed so intregral to the operation of a device, automobile, airplane, firearm, why not the mental and emotional capacity to operate such devices?

I wish you guys wanted refugees and illegals vetted like this, but since you don't, you have time to do it to citizens.

Again....The AR 15 was designed specifically NOT for war. It was designed for civilians.

The AR 15 was designed to be the civilian version of the M16, which was a weapon of war (select fire and what not)(was replaced by the M4 by all branches, I believe. Army may still use the M16).

No AR 15 has ever been used in war.

For more reasons than just the lack of select fire too. The barrels are not designed to take the heat generated fro auto fire and 3-round bursts. The bolts are also not up to that task. It is LITERALLY designed to NOT fire rapidly.
