The US government isn't filing these lawsuits, Trump's campaign is. I don't see where the UG government gets involved outside of criminal prosecution by the DoJ which isn't happening anytime soon.

I’d understand if they wanted to recount, to check ballots, see if software wasnt “glitching”, etc.
