MGT advocates for "cooling off period" for voters moving from blue to red states.

Yes, only the smart, well informed citizens were allowed to vote. Which is the way it should be.
And who gets to make that determination?

Because in my opinion there's a lotta RWNJ keyboard warriors here that would NOT make the cut

This makes so much sense. I'm growing tired of transplants from hard left democrat states who vote democrat leaving their state because of higher taxes, crime, etc... Stop trying to come into a well organized Republican state to vote in the same crap you were tired of from your previous state. It's becoming redundant in sabotaging a state.

A. Your gun nutter buddy was whining about a 3 day wait for a background check

B. A lot of gun sales are exempt from background checks

No they are not. Most gun shows are conducted by licensed dealers. All licensed dealers are required to do federal background checks whether they sell a gun out of their home or out of their store. Very few if any guns used in crime are purchased at a show or a private sale. Most guns are stolen or purchased by straw buyers, and all the gun laws in the world can't stop that.

Saying guns are the cause of crime is as ridiculous as saying cars are the cause of DUI accidents. If you want to curb gun crime, the only possible way to do that is increase the penalties against the people, not the guns. But as we both know, Democrats are doing just the opposite. They are decreasing penalties and violent crime in their cities have increased by 30% or more since last year. Mind you a lot of them have the most strictest gun laws in the country.

If you petition our legislatures for tougher penalties against criminals that use guns, you have my total support. But if you want tougher gun laws no matter who buys them, then of course you don't have my support. The problem for you is your representatives will not even hint at tougher criminal laws because most criminals are leftists, and they're not about to lock up potential voters.

And yet not one could tell us what those "sane" policies are. So what's sane, thinking that making it harder on law abiding people to buy guns will have any affect on the bad guys? Thinking that smaller magazines will somehow make any difference in a mass shooting? Get rid of scary looking guns because the less scary guns can't do the same harm?

She is a TRAITOR advocating the dissolution of the United States

There are lots of good reasons why the US should be broken up.
First of all, it is too big and corrupt, illegally beating up on smaller innocent nations like Iraq, Libya, Egypt, Iran, Grenada, Panama, etc.
Second is that DC only represents a tiny fraction of wealthy elite, and not the majority of the people at all.
There are far too many valid and diverse views and opinions that are being ignored and abused.
Smaller countries would much better represent the real will of the people.

Most of the states have 183 days before you come a resident, I want to say all of them.

Most of the people know what they want.

Wrong.
You can become a resident within a week if you want.
Most state REQUIRE you to become a resident if you live there more than 8 months or so.

The 183-day and convenience rules

A state with a 183-day residency rule, for example, will consider you a full-year resident for tax purposes if you spent more than half the year there. Suppose your domicile is in California, but with your employer’s office shut down, you decided to live with your sister in Illinois beginning in April. Because you spent more than 183 days in the former, you’re considered a dual resident.

Going forward, you can avoid that scenario by simply spending fewer than 183 days in your “temporary” state—Illinois, in our example—which could mean going back to your domicile for the required length of time or even spending a few weeks in another state altogether. Or, if you decide to stay in Illinois, you could set up a domicile there to avoid any claims California would have on your income.

War is good for the economy. Plus when we drop bombs on these third world countries, we get to test some of the newer weaponry in actual combat situations. Plus other countries pay attention. They realize they could be next if they don't respect us.
